This standard has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 67 “Ceramic tiles” (Secretariat: UNI, Italy).

The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Bauwesen (Building and
Civil Engineering Standards Committee), Technical Committee NA 005-09-82 AA Keramische Fliesen und
Platten (Sp CEN/TC 67, ISO/TC 189).

Amendments

This standard differs from DIN EN 1308:1999-03 as follows:

a) The standard has been revised in form and substance.

b) Clause 6 “Apparatus” has been extended.
