Additional Narrative Comments:
- Very nice work welcoming them with an assertive and warm presence. They know they are
valued by you. I especially like how you talk about the break, and give them some pieces of
your break too. This helps build trust and community when they feel they know their teacher.
-Very effective instruction/expectation setting. You let them know what you expect and what
the results of their choices will be.
-Great choices for when to use falsetto to help them find the pitches on 5 Fat Turkeys.
-Excellent work knowing their names and monitoring all of them for the expectations.
-Great job handling the bathroom situation. You maintained their dignity while letting them
know the expectations.
Goals worked towards from last time:
-Classroom management on transitions: strategies that are more empathetic and personal.
-Balance with lesson planning and life commitments.
