James: Good Morning Classmates and ma’am Taligatos, are you ready
to learn about the accurate and data driven method of Inferential
Statistics Analysis Method? If yes then let’s go! But first let me
introduce the people who made this presentation possible, first we have
our 2 power point makers Paul Daniel M. Munoz and Xander I. Paa, our
researcher Miles D. Sevilla, Script writer yours truly and your presenters
for this presentation Pierre Enzhy Nazh T. Pabelico and, Nina Recca S.
Sarcino, with all that said, here’s Nica and Pierre.
Pierre: Hello Everyone! Me and Nica will now begin our presentation,
lets start off by Introducing the parts of Inferential Statistics Analysis
Method.
Nica: There are 5 parts in Inferential Statistics Analysis Method, these
are Correlation, Cross-Tabulation, Regression Analysis, Frequency
Tables, Analysis of Variance, let’s start with the first part Correlation.
Let’s start with its definition, Correlation is the process of establishing a
relationship or connection between two or more measures.
Pierre: Let us give you an example of correlation, this chart shows Time
spent watching and Exam Score, these are the variables in question, this
chart also shows recorded data, after observing the data, it is then
concluded if correlation is present.
Nica: Let us move on to the next part, which is Cross-Tabulation is a
two- (or more) dimensional table that records the number (frequency) of
respondents that specific characteristics described in the cell of the table.
Cross-Tabulation tables also provides a wealth of information about the
relationship between the variables.
Pierre: This table shows products and their sales, the cross tabulation in
this table itself, this table is used to examine relationships within the data
that might not be readily apparent when only looking at total survey
responses.
Nica: The next part is Regression Analysis, Regression Analysis is a
statistical method of analyzing different factors, and understanding
which can influence an objective, and which can be ignored.
Pierre: This is an Example of Regression Analysis, let me explain the
elements of this graph, the line, the line is also known as the regression
line, and the dots you see on near the line are called data points, okay so
what do they do you may ask? The line acts as the defining point of the
chart, whilst the dots or data points acts as the results of a survey. So if
the dots are closer to the line there are less errors.
Pierre: The next part is Frequency Tables, Frequency Tables lists a set
of values and how often each one appears. Frequency is the number of
times a specific data value occurs in the data set. These tables organize
your data values are common and which are rare.
Nica: Here is an example of Regression Analysis, This table represents
two variables, Height and the Frequency of the height. The column on
the left represent the height and the one on the right the number of
respondents with said height.
Nica: Last but not the least, Analysis of Variance, Analysis of Variance
or (ANOVA) is an analysis tool used in statistics that splits an observed
aggregate variability found inside a data set into two parts: systematic
factors and random factors. The systematic factors have a statistical
influence on the given data set, while the random factors do not.
Analysts use the ANOVA test to the determine the influence that
independent variables have on the dependent variable in a regression
study.
Pierre: This chart shows an example of Regression Analysis, The
curved lines in the chart represents respondents, this chart helps us
understand how different groups respond, with null hypothesis for the
test that the means of the different groups are equal. If there is a
statistically significant result, then it means that the two populations are
unequal (or different).
James: That wraps up our reporting on Inferential Statistics Analysis
Method, we hoped you enjoyed and learned a lot from our reporting
again classmates and ma’am taligatos, this is group 6 and thankyou for
listening.
