Deliverables
Below is a sticker design made specifically for the WSR Awareness campaign.
Its message is simple: to encourage and inspire students to overcome whatever challenges they
may face and to strive to be better. The design complies with WSR branding.

students, more specifically, recently married students. The poster features WSR’s marriage

First, ALWAYS have at least a couple of cockroach traps around your house. Place these in
dark and humid areas like cupboards, underneath sinks, and near showers. Also, clean up
any puddles or spills as quickly as possible. Cockroaches can live for months without food
but will die from dehydration very quickly.
Next, seal your food in airtight containers. For example, sugar is often sold in large bags.
Once these bags are open, it’s difficult to securely close them again. Opt for storing the sugar
in a sealed bag or container. Check your food for cockroaches or ants before cooking.
In addition, always take our your trash at night. A full trash can will attract all sorts of
unwanted critters, not just cockroaches. It may be tiring to take it out every single night,
but it’s worth it. You may not see them during the day, but cockroaches come out at night
to eat any food they can find, including your trash.
Finally, never leave dishes in the sink. Always clean them as soon as you can. If you are in a
hurry, at least rinse the dishes in water so there are no food chunks left on the dishes or sink.
If possible, dry off your dishes and put them away before you go to bed.
With diligent cleaning, you can win the fight against cockroaches. However, if the bug
problem becomes overwhelming, you can contact the Facility Management* department
if you live on campus for some extra pest control help.
Bonus tip: You might be tempted to squish any spiders and lizards you see hanging around
your house. Leave them be! They eat cockroaches and make great pets.

Homage: A Celebration of Women
Women’s History Month Event
In March, Women’s History Month, WSR will host a special event to celebrate women and promote aware-
ness of their department. The proposed event is Homage: A Celebration of Women. The concept of the
event is to hold a contest in which students can submit memoirs, art, or original music celebrating import-
ant women in their life such as mothers, leaders, family, or historical figures. A panel of judges, possibly
the Nyes, choose the best selection from each category. At an event at the end of the month, those select-
ed students can read aloud, perform, or showcase their work in front of an audience. Then, at the end of
the event, the judges reveal one winner from each category.
The goal of the event is to make the participants leave feeling empowered by the women in their lives.
They will also become more familiar with WSR and the Nyes.
Proposed Date and Location: Wednesday, March 29, 6-8 pm. At the pavillion where attendees can bring
blanket to sit on.
Expected Number of Attendees: 200 attendees. The selected performers will likely bring a group of friends
with them for support. In addition, performance based events usually do not get more than 300 attend-
ees.

Event Promotion
Below are some sample posts to promote the event. The first would be posted at the beginning of the

event. After the event, WSR could post photos of the event and thank everyone who came and highlight
the winners. The description of the posts would go into more detail about the competition and event.

Social Media Content
Social media is an important aspect of any business when it comes to promotion. It is a great
way to promote your business, spread awareness, and interact with clients.
The Secret
The secret to having a successful social media presence is interaction. Social media algorithms
look for posts and accounts that have a lot of interaction: comments, likes, shares, polls, and
saves. This is why it is important to promote interaction with every post, whether it be encour-
aging comments or taking a poll.
It is also important to provide links that will lead viewers to relevant pages. This is also great for
social media algorithms to pick up on your account and posts. It also provides viewers an easy
way to learn more. If someone sees a WSR post on Instagram, they might want to visit the WSR
website next. It is wise to provide them with an easy and logical way to get there.

Finals stress?
Finals will soon be upon us, bringing a little bit of stress with them, too! We've pro-
vided some ways to combat stress and how to prepare for finals so you can be confi-
dent. If you need additional counseling, counseling is available at the counseling
center or WSR. Which of the shared methods worked for you? How are you preparing
for finals?

Inbound Strategies
Inbound strategies are methods to make a business more valuabel to its customers and cultivate a
long-term relationship with those customers. An example of an effect inbound strategy are email
newsletters. A newsletter is a simple yet efficient way to keep clients updated. For example, after a
client has been helped by WSR, a newsletter is a good way to remind them of their experience and
keep it on their mind. Clients can sign up for the newsletter if they visit the WSR office or their
social media pages.

Conclusion
To trace the effectiveness of this creative campaign, carefully track the interaction on the social
media platforms as well as webpage traffic. In addition, keep track of event attendance as well as
the number of students utilizing WSR services. Certain elements of this campaign are bound to
work better than others. Make note of what works best and try to emulate those elements.
There is much that WSR can do to help the students of BYU–H. By following this plan, WSR will be
able to reach a many as students as possible, in turn making their time at BYU–H a positivie experi-
ence that wil prepare them for their future careers and roles.
