Task 1
Question Number 1
Answer:

A project is a brief venture with a clear beginning and finish that is started to develop a special
good or service. Projects can be thought of as the accomplishment of a particular goal and
involve the use of materials for a number of different jobs or undertakings (Rose, 2001). The
essential guidelines that must be followed for effective project management are known as the
project management principles.
Standard design specifications, technologically advanced, owner construction sophistication,
adequate owner staffing, owner risk aversion, owner eagerness to defer professional assistance,
current state of the market, availability of design-builders, size of project, and established budget
are the fundamental principles and characteristics of any project. These principle characteristics
help the project manager to know if the actual performance is in line with the set standards or
not. Therefore, it helps to take corrective actions in time.

Question Number 2
Answer:

Therefore, the total time taken for the project = 25 days.

Question Number 3
Answer:

The process of defining and arranging projects for implementation is known as scope definition.
This key stage is when the project's concerns are assessed and the precise implementation phase
strategy is established. The work necessary to create the project's outputs is covered by the
project scope. The project's scope is defined by the labor necessary to accomplish its goals
(Mirza et al., 2013). It is normal and unavoidable for a project's scope to change as it progresses.
Any scope modifications that affect the timetable, finance, or effectiveness should be
communicated to the project's most important stakeholders. Project commencement, scope
preparation, scope definition, scope validation, and scope change control are the five main
criteria that guarantee the accomplishment of a project within its original scope (Khan, 2006).
