Instructions: Compare and contrast the following art styles:
1. Installation and Conceptual Art

➢ Installation Art that begins in 1960's, is considered to be time-based media, or art with a
duration. While Conceptual art also begins in the 1960s, it is art based on the idea or
concept and is more important than the finished art object.

2. Environmental Art or Earthwork

➢ Environmental Art, which the artist are using only the materials found in the nature as
its raw materials and transmitting its beauty to encourage us to take care of our nature
and this started in the 1970s.

3. Performance Art

➢ Performance Art that has to acted out live in front of an audiences, this means that the
people must be watching you perform.

4. Computer or Digital Art

➢ Computer or Digital Art are made using software, computers, or other electronic devices
by the artist.
