CMIE database Services details:

1. Economic Outlook:

Economic Outlook presents review, data and forecasts of the Indian Economy. It provides CMIE’s view
on where the Indian economy stands and where it is likely headed. Key component of Economic
outlook are:

1. Statistics - Data from official and CMIE proprietary databases. This makes one stop data need on
macro economy and most of this data is from beginning of the period with long time series.

2. Analysis : CMIE's independent incisive analysis on macro- economic scenario.


Analysis of Fast-frequency official data
➢ Monthly Review of Financial Markets ~ every 3rd
➢ Monthly Review of Macro-economy ~ every 9th
➢ Monthly Review of Sectoral Performance ~every 20th

includes Compensation to Employees as a % of sales & changes in stocks, Income, Profits etc.
 It presents time-series data on labour market survey from CMIE CPHS, NSSO, Labour Bureau
and Naukri Index.
 It presents comprehensive data on Organized and Unorganized sectors employment.
 Consumer sentiments index in Economic Outlook helps your organization in capturing
perceptions and expectations of over 2,36,000 households. This index is available by region,
household income groups, by occupation groups, Religion and by Caste.
 In addition to CMIE consumer sentiments, it also covers Consumer Confidence Survey from
RBI.

2) States Of India:

A Comprehensive compilation of State and District level Statistics supported by Official Statistical doc-
uments from State governments. It covers all the 36 states and union territories and more impor-
tantly the 675 districts of India. There are over 139 million time-series in States of India. This is an
ideal database to study progress of states in India. Scores of news items are posted everyday to keep
you abreast of the markets that matter to you.

The data is covered on:

 It presents state wise time-series data on labour market survey from CMIE CPHS, NSSO, labour
Bureau and Naukri Index.
