Referral Question

Yoell was referred for testing by his mom. This assessment was requested to
assess Yoell’s socio-emotional functioning and make recommendations for treatment
and/or home accommodations.

Identifying Information / Relevant History

Yoell is a 21-year-old Asian male with socio-emotional functioning concerns. He

was delivered healthy and at full term. His biological mother was said to be 40 years old
and in good health. When Yoell was 4 years old, the biological father passed away. Yoell
was 7 pounds when he was born, and it's been said that he had a little respiratory issue
that went away on its own. He apparently accomplished each developmental milestone
in the allotted amount of time. Important occasions in Yoell's life include:

● Biological father died when Yoell was 4 years old

● Biological mother remarried when he was 7 years old
● Yoell moved in with his mother and step-father at 7 years of age
● Transferred to Bimbo Martinez High for 7th grade
● First time living alone to study for college
