Observation:
While designing the house main
concept was to design a spaces which
facilitated with a vast opening towards the
garden and the quiet street. All main
activities are connected with the garden.
The triple height dining area with full glass
brings in abundant natural light
throughout the day and adds grandness.
Two cube extruded outside the room. which is full cover with glass. The
unique and huge “Bee” themed art installation gives the house an identity and presence in
the context.
The plot is a tight site with a lot of requirements. To meet them, two walls are
constructed holding the house together connecting different spaces with the central court
acting as an interaction threshold.
Partition
(Image 7 –shows partition between dinning and entrance from the staircase )
If we see dinning area and entrance, at the privacy purpose it doesn’t work that much. No
full partition or solid wall between the dinning and entrance. If we enter in the house we
direct get the view of dinning.
At the ground floor they give a servant room, staircase , multipurpose room
and other services. At the ground floor there are garden at the one side.at the 1 st floor
different area divide into two parts public and privet .dinning area is the central core of the
house. Garden area accessible from living room.
At the 3rd floor there are master bedroom and parent’s room are there. Both
rooms are connected with dinning threw the window. Same as on the 4th floor daughter’s
room are there. As we see in the plan bedrooms design are so luxurious.
Wooden fall
ceiling and
yellow light
give a
complement
to each other.
Pleasing
combination of
wooden and
yellow light.
From all window
they get a view
threw full
highted glass.
Conclusion:
They used wood in door and dinning
area also. Wood and ambient light enhance the
glow of area.
