Observation:
As we see plot’s north and south side society road and the east side main road
accessible. Main designed concept was to create a courtyard house without using no
wood. The name itself indicate that they doesn’t use any type of wood in the house. The
furniture was designed in metal, stone, WPC
but at the same time achieve the warmth in
the interiors. This court acts as an indoor
garden flanged by a terracotta jail and
louvers on top to create natural light moods.
The most eye catching thing is that cube
which made with terracotta jail. They use
maximum amount of natural light it is good
thing. And they use only light colours for the
wall so the light colours gave a maximum
reflection of the natural light .

To used maximum natural light they give more openings in South-East side and
cover the north side with terracotta jali. Open terrace gave a good view .From that we can
see both the side of the road .It has 2 phase good and a bad , we see the house from the
road and it made markable but if we see as a security purpose this is not a good because the
height of compound wall also less and it also made from terracotta so there are come security
issues in future.

Image 5 show the night view of

terracotta jali. how beautifully it gave a
shadow pattern and good emphasis to the
structure. they highlighted a plant with the
lights so it’s important maintain in night also.

As we see in image 6, there is a main entrance door which directly connected

you to the court which act as an indoor garden. Court is double highted it gives the feel of
huge space. in court
there is minimum use
of artificial light.
They fitted a louvers
on top to create
natural light. And
terracotta jali playing
with light and shadow
beautifully.

(Image 7-shows the detail of drainage ) (Image 8- shows the play of light )

They provided drainage for water. Plants take sun light from the louvers skylight.

Threw court we
entered in a living room. At the
1st floor they built minimum
walls . all the different area
divided with the partition or
the sliding doors. Mix use
areas like dinning ,pooja room
and court are double highted.

(Image 9- shows the division with partition )

so the people can feel the space and get more nature light. In image we see that
dinning area is double highted so the people get connected with each other. For the interior
they used pastel shades. For the curtain they used art.

Public Spaces are placing in the north side and kitchen and other activities
placed at south side .at the ground floor there are parking facility and open space.

In a bedroom they used pastel

shades so the room can gave the
positive energy. and it looks simple
but attractive.

(Image 11- shows the selection of colours in bedroom)

In bathroom they gave a

ventilation so the natural
light comes.

If we see in image 13 so we
can see the huge opening at
the road side which gives the
connectivity.

Conclusion:
At the conclusion, To my way of thinking .. compound wall height in terms of safety
purpose is less, as the plot connected with road and it made with terracotta jali. they use
maximum amount of natural light. They gave a double highted places. the whole residence
is beautiful designed and cover all the spaces and if we see there is no negative space in
house. Skylights makes places more beautiful and lively. All over the planning done
according to the directions and usage. And that “court garden” is cherry on the cake. It
design in very well manner.
