Can we please address that this isn’t a logline? A proper logline is essential as it gets to the
core of a story. If we don’t know the core of the story, it is extremely difficult to sell it.
Example logline: Dumped by her socialite fiancee and disowned by her family, a
ruthless business woman swears off romance only to meet a charming tycoon who
challenges her to love again, embrace humility, and rise from the ashes of her past.

Detailed Summary
Zoey was deeply in love with her fiancee Mike who dumped her in public and left her a
spectacle for everyone to make fun of. Zoey and Mike have been together since childhood
and she hadn’t expected their ending to be like that.
Her eyes full of desperation and heart full of pain, she begged for him to take her back, but
Mike only humiliated her more in front of all those who she considered friends. She
was tossed away like a garbage bag.
Zoey’s problems didn’t end here, though. They ran deep. From a neglectful father to a
resentful mother, an ignoring younger sister and an unresponsive family, Zoey came from a
broken home and was a byproduct of a dysfunctional family dynamic. Her mother
constantly reminded Zoey of the fact that she wished she never had her. Every time
she heard her mother utter the same thing, it broke her heart.
But that was in the past. Zoey empowered herself and emerged stronger than before. She
used her traumas to alchemize her gloom and despair to strength and resilience. She turned
into a tough woman who waits for the kill and gets the job done.
What still pestered her though is that she lost her position in the society. She was a
top socialite in Boston once. But turned into a nobody. Worst of all, she had no one by her
side besides Frankie, not even her family.
Frankie, an internationally acclaimed actor & model stood by Zoey, even though their
friendship was scoffed at by people. The two childhood friends stuck with each other through
thick and withstood the test of time.
Zoey thought of herself as a work in progress. She realized that she was a flawed person
when she was with Mike and worked upon those flaws. She was once a wealthy and
self-centred woman who treated others as second-class citizens. Her name sent shivers
across the ordinary people who did things just to meet her approval.
She tried her best to become the woman she never was. Someone who wasn’t afraid of
being a flawed being, because after all, who isn’t? She shifted her perspective and
developed a sense of empathy for others, because they had problems of their own too.

grandfather, Richard, the head of the Ardolf clan who ran the family business as well.

brother, Ryan West, a billionaire business mogul. Ryan despised Zoey. But when Zoey fell ill
at her sister’s birthday party, he rushed her to the hospital. Zoey then returned the favour
when Ryan had a bad allergic reaction. The two had a professional rivalry but there was
always a spark between them which they ignored.

situation. But after she got back, she took care of Zoey and helped her regain confidence.

scary how accurate he was when it came to predictions. A man with a mysterious demeanor,
equipped with money and good looks, Frankie could get any woman he wanted. He was
known for his ruthlessness when it came to business. The media also knew him for being a
man who dabbled only in casual relationships.

her under her wing when she saw that Zoey was a mess after
the break up.

Frankie gets her all dressed up, does her make up and gets her
hair done… It looks like Frankie has some plans for her best
friend.

EP 4 Zoey goes to the restaurant with her friend only to find that she
has been set up on a blind date… the man opposite her is Phillip
Carson.

Zoey gets pissed off and we reveal that this is yet another blind
date set by Frankie.. It is revealed that Zoey’s parents had
disowned her and even cancelled all her credit cards and left her
to fend for herself till her grandfather took her in. So despite the
fact that Frankie sets her up on blind dates, she goes through
them because Frankie was the only one who cared.

However, despite Phillip being a nice guy, Frankie doesnt like

him and she gives him the wrong number after the blind date.

the pariah of the Boston social scene!Turns out, Zoey is the woman
who saved his life.

EP 8 Zoey has a conversation with her grandfather who realizes how

much Zoey has changed especially when she turns down his offer
to take down Amelia.

Zoey realizes that Richard hired another private team of

bodyguards to watch her from a distance

Zoey was Richard’s Favourite Granddaughter and he wanted

her to be protected all the time.
 EP 9 Zoey reaches home after a fruitful dinner with Richard. Thinking
about her grandfather’s offer to get back at Amelia, she remembers
how Mike had treated her in the past. As she reaches home, we
see Zoey’s demeanor as a changed woman. She then sits and
plays her piano and it is revealed that she was a pianist alongside
her sister. However, Zoey’ s younger Sister Emma started
comparing herself to Zoey. To soothe her sister’s ego, she decided
to not outshine her younger sister and retired from playing the
piano but Emma had still been ungrateful and used her
accomplishments to win her parents' affection…

Not only that, but Emma had also chosen Amelia over her
older sister.

Zoey starts to play the piano, feeling the sting of betrayal and
plays till she falls asleep in exhaustion.

EP 10 Zoey wakes up from a call from Frankie asking her to come to the
emergency room. Turns out, Frankie’s brother Ryan, had lost a lot
of blood in a road accident and needed AB - group Blood. Zoey
doesn’t hesitate to donate blood to Ryan. Is Ryan the
beginning of a new chapter for Zoey?

UPCOMING PLOT TWISTS

Ep 11 - Zoey donates blood to Frankie’s brother and misses out on her mother’s call. She
checks her phone suddenly and realizes it was on silent. She then sees 30 missed texts at
once… her mother has been forcing her to attend Emma’s birthday party! Frankie
instead tells Zoey to attend the party with Will as her date and get back at Mike.

Ep 12 - Will isn’t the kind of person to easily get manipulated. He’s a womanizer but he’d do
anything important for Frankie. Zoey on the other hand is sure that Mike will never get
jealous if Amelia is present at the party. But eventually upon Frankie’s strong insistence,
she agrees.

Ep 13 - On the way home from the hospital Zoey notices a poor old lady selling vegetables
on a cart. The woman looks troubled as her cart is barely empty. Zoey feels for her and buys
some vegetables. She talks politely to the woman and gives her the money. Mike, who's
passing along, happens to catch a glimpse of Zoey and gets startled… never had she
behaved so calmly and politely with a poor person before. It seems like Zoey has
changed.

Ep 14 - On her way home Zoey decides to re-route and meet her grandfather at his
home and cook meals for him with all the fresh vegetables she bought. Zoey wants
her grandfather to know she is going to attend the birthday party. She has always felt that
her grandfather is the only one who really loves her and the reason is that she has
been the youngest in the family to get a degree from Harvard's Business School.
Zoey had graduated from college at 20, when she was younger than any of her peers.
Because of her demonstrated abilities of handling Jones Corp by herself in Mike's absence,
Richard deems Zoey worthy over her other cousins.

EP 15 - Zoey cooks a similar kind of food for Richard that his wife used to cook for
him. Richard feels happy with the premium treatment given to him by his most
favourite granddaughter. If it would have been any other grandchild he would think a
zillion times before eating the food, but this was Zoey her most treasured. When all
the grandchildren were young, Richard used to give them IQ tests and Zoey was the
only one who never lost.

Ep 16 - After a hearty meal with Richard, Zoey receives a call from Frankie
mentioning that there could be a Mafia connection in relation to her brothers’
accident. They also mutually decide to connect with their old techie friend Paul for
help.

Ep 17 - Zoey calls up Paul and asks for help. She wanted to know if he could find
details of the accident that happened on Kingston street that night . She also asks
him to give a full report of the owner of the Silver Van that purposely ran into
Frankie’s brothers’ Black Maybach.. Paul Agrees to help.

Ep 18 - Zoey was invited by Frankie to tag along with her to the hospital as after a
very long time Frabkie’s Brother Ryan gained consciousness. Zoey hesitates at first,
as she feels this might be another date setup arranged by Frankie for her.

EP 19 - Zoey books a cab to reach the hospital to meet Ryan on Frankie’s request.

Ep 20 - Zoey gets a shock when Ryan offers her money in exchange for her donated
blood! She shreds the Check into pieces and throws the pieces of the paper into his face.

Ep 21 - It was clear Zoey didn't want or lack money! Frankie feels proud of how Zoey
handled the situation. No one had ever dared to shame or not not give in to the great Ryan,
and she did it without flinching!. Ryan remembers that Zoey was the same girl he knew
as a child and that same girl later got attracted to a guy called Mike which somehow
made his blood boil. Was Ryan in love with Zoey?

Ep 22 - Zoey receives a call from Frankie as a precaution giving a red alert as Ryan
has left the hospital in anger. Zoey for safety measures walks to her private safe. It’s
tucked away, hidden in her walk-in-closet.
Ep 23 - Zoey was shocked beyond wits when receives a Platinum Edition CH purse as
a gift from Ryan for blood donation.

Ep 24 - Ryan heads to his office and everyone in his office including his secretary, Joshua is
rather in a state of panic because of a delivery of an unknown box in the office premise as
no one ever wishes to upset Ryan West. What was in the box? who sent it?

Ep 25 - Ryan scowls at the incredibly tiny box in front of him. It took him ten attempts of
opening big boxes to small boxes, then to even smaller boxes, and so on just to reach the
final box. His mood drops quickly as he sees the prestigious Philippe Patek watch in
the box sitting in the same material box that he had sent to Zoey. It’s encrusted with
tens of three carat diamonds and with a base made from gold, it was a priceless watch worth
tens of millions.

Ep 26 - Zoey & Ryan indulge in a “gift war” in which they keep gifting more and more
expensive items to each other. Richard asks his grand-daughter to bring a date for the
upcoming banquet party.

Ep 28 - Zoey makes a celebrity-like entrance at the party, leaving the paparazzi and the
onlookers breathless. People soon begin to gossip… ‘Yes, she’s the same Zoey who was
publicly humiliated years ago!’

Ep 29 - Zoey runs into her former high profile friends, Amanda & gang who try to mock &
humiliate her. She gives it back to them leaving them all stupefied. Zoey bumps into Mike’s
love interest, Amelia.

Ep 30 - Mike gets into a tussle with Zoey for accidentally bumping into his woman.
More people mock Zoey for wearing the same dress as Amelia, and accuse her of copying.
Zoey lashes out at Mike who slaps her in front of everyone.

Ep 31 - Ryan drops into the party like a hero at the party and rescues Zoey from the
slander. He ignores Mike and tells Zoey that he’s her date. She’s quite surprised as she had
assumed that Will, Frankie’s older brother, was to be her date at the party. She wants to
return the necklace, which was Ryan’s gift, but he refuses.

Ep 32 - Zoey runs into Amelia again in the bathroom. She recollects the past when she tried
to re-unite Amelia with her real birth parents and the latter refuses, and instead complained
to Mike about Zoey. Amelia and Zoey exchange a few words and go outside, where Mike &
Ryan are waiting for them. Amelia seems normal but Mike angrily asks Zoey if she did
something to Amelia, and asks her to stay away from his love.

Ep 33 - Mike says bad things about Zoey to Ryan who makes it clear that he shall not
tolerate any nonsense about Zoey. Ryan notices the hatred for Zoey in Amelia’s eyes and
asks his assistant Joshua to hand in a full report on Amelia.

Ep 35 - After the party, Ryan notices Zoey all by herself somewhere near the back
gate. He asks her if she’s alright and comes to know she has a fever. He carries her in
his arms and into the car, and asks the driver to take them to the nearest hospital.

Ep 36 - The doctor asks Ryan what she’d eaten in the last three hours and informs
that it seems like it’s a case of poisoning. The toxins have been flushed out of her body
but she’ll need two more nights of rest. Ryan feels gloomy and recollects the time when she
had saved him by donating her blood and he’d insulted her by giving her a cheque.

Ep 37 - Zoey wakes up and wonders what she’s doing at the hospital. Ryan meets her
and tells her about the past night. He also teasingly informs her that they’ve now been
picked up by the tabloids as the newest couple on the block. He takes care of her and
ensures that she eats well.

Ep 38 - Zoey calls her grandfather from the hospital and updates him about her condition.
She also comes to know that her grandfather has seen the headlines on the tabloids and
feels that Ryan is a brat. Because Ryan is extremely successful few people talk about him
like that, it seems her grandfather doesn’t think much of him after all.

Ep 39 - Zoey feels better and wants to get discharged. She comes to know from the
nurse that Ryan had signed up for her as her boyfriend. She tells the nurse that she’ll
settle the bill when Ryan drops in and stops her. He then begins to flirt and tells her that he
liked her gifts, did she like his?

Ep 40 - Ryan chases Zoey, flirts with her as she tries to get away from him at the hospital.
Ryan wonders if she’s just playing hard to get. Any other woman would’ve been in his arms
by now.

Ep 41 - On the way back home, Zoey falls asleep in Ryan's car. When her phone rings,
Ryan picks up. It’s Paul. He informs that the person involved in the accident was good
at covering up their tracks, but he’s put Ralph up to the task. Ryan wonders what
accident Zoey is investigating?

Ep 42 - Zoey wakes up in her house, confused as to how she got there. Last, she
remembered falling asleep in Ryan’s car. She picks up her phone to call Frankie but gets
startled to see Ryan’s number in her phonebook. She calls him and chides him for saving
his number on her phone. Ryan uses the opportunity to flirt some more. Zoey decides to win
the “gift war” by sending Ryan another gift - the list of files with info on people who had tried
to kill him.

Ep 43 - Zoey goes to meet her grandfather at his office. She attends a board meeting
full of men and powerfully lists out her reasons why the company should not go
ahead with a certain project, as it would be a waste of their resources. Ryan is outside
along with Joshua, he seems impressed by Zoey.

Ep 44 - Zoey rejects several proposals and accepts just one. Ryan tells her that the
proposal she just accepted came from his company. Zoey sighs, that wasn’t why she
had accepted it.

Ep 45 - After the meeting, Zoey’s grandfather insists that they have lunch together. Ryan
joins them as well. Richard feels for Ryan as he’s trying so hard to gain Zoey’s
attention and she’s treating him like he doesn’t exist.

Ep 46 - Ryan’s brother Will arrives at Richard’s office after Ryan leaves. He gets to
know that Ryan had the fish which Zoey offered and begins to panic as Ryan is
allergic to fish. Will also informs that Ryan had prevented him from attending the party as
Zoey’s date at the last minute.
