Dear Nurse Recruiter,

I am writing to express my interest in obtaining a position as a registered nurse at CODAC. I have been
interested in this facility since I have received a tour during an immersion experience in my Public Health
rotation. With this rotation, fellow peers and I were educated about the facility and what is provided. I
appreciate how the patients are considered and called “members” of the community. The services
provided were also something that caught my attention during the tour. I think it is very powerful to
have primary care, day care facilities, groups, and mental health therapy in one location. Beyond the
tour, I am interested in this integrative health clinic, as I have always been very passionate about mental
health, and I knew from the beginning of my nursing career path that I wanted to have a career that has
a focus on mental health and helping others.

As of now, I am a newer nurse graduate having recently completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at
the University of Arizona in December 2022. I have gathered over 1,000 clinical hours in my 4 years at
the university of Arizona. In relation to hours that will aid me in this facility, I have gathered 75 hours on
my mental health clinical rotation and 75 hours during my population health clinical rotation.

In regards to integrative health, I have always had a passion as stated previously. Throughout my life, I
have had to help many individuals close to me with various mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder I,
depression, anxiety, and substance use disorder. I know that the skills I have learned with helping these
individuals in my life will also aid in my time at this facility as I remember during the tour that there is a
focus on mental health and substance abuse disorder. Overall, I am very motivated and driven in this
field as I have been a part of it from a very young age with those who I have had to help in my life. I am
excited to continue my journey along this pathway of nursing and I appreciate your consideration of my
