Test steps and voltage applying procedures 5.1 Measurement of insulation resistance The insulation resistance measurement of the subject's main insulation by using the megameter is performed on the main insulation of the subject before and after the withstand voltage tests. 5.2 Experience tests Experience tests should be carried out before the field withstand voltage test. The voltage applying procedure is: 0--Uim/ V3 (145kV) 10min-F1. 2Um/ V3 (174kV) Sming 5.3 AC withstand voltage test & Partial discharge measurement The voltage applying procedures of main circuit grounded withstand voltage is: operating voltage — 0.8uf (368kV) lasts for 1 min, After the withstand voltage test, the test voltage drops to 1.2um / V3 (174KV) and do partial discharge directly, When partial discharge measurement is performed, the ultrasonic test should be carried out at each circuit breaker bay, and the voltage is reduced to zero at the end of partial local discharge measurement. ‘The voltage applying procedure is shown in Figure 1. 6Figure 1 Voltage applying curve of GIS power frequency withstand voltage test 6 Test criterion 6.1 If all components of GIS have been tested according to the above predetermined withstand voltage test procedures with the results of no breakdown and discharge phenomenon, the withstand voltage tests of the entire GIS are qualified. 6.2 If breakdown and discharge occurs during the test, a comprehensive judgment is performed according to the site conditions. In the case of the first discharge, repetition test can be performed. If the repetition test passes that the discharge is self-recovery discharge, the entire GIS passes the pressure test; if the discharge appears twice or more (the discharge voltage is not significantly improved), apply voltage to the gas insulating metal-enclosed switchgear by segments, determine the internal fault positions, disassemble the gas barriers and check the insulation before retesting the withstand voltage. 7 Prerequisites before tests 7.1 The test should be completely installed with qualified SF6 gas, the gas pressure of each gas chamber is held in the numerical value specified in the manufacturer and test is qualified (moisture content of SF6 gas ) after 24 hours; 7.2 In addition to the AC withstand voltage test, other conventional tests should be completed and qualified; 73 The opening and closing positions of each switching device shall be locked in the specified state of the withstand voltage test; 7.4 Current transformer secondary winding should be short-circuited, the sec 36Eee winding of the voltage transformer should be opened and grounded; 7.5 Remove ; emove a Voltage transformer (VT) and GIS connecting conductor, and install the shielded head in both ends and make the VT side grounded. 7.6 Re emove all arresters (LA) and GIS connection conductors, and install the shield head at both ends and make the LA side ground. 7.7 Make sure of the isolation safety measures out of the withstand voltage test range of the subject and the overhead lines, reactors, arresters, etc. 7.8 During voltage applying, other relevant operations (such as electric welding, etc.) elated to the field should be temporarily stopped; 7.9 The ambient temperature is not less than 5 °C, the relative humidity is not more than 80%, and the wind is not greater than level 5. 8 Security Measures 8.1 Check the status and test position of the subject, and the test wiring is correct before starting the tests. 8.2 During withstand voltage test, the 252kV GIS AC withstand voltage test should be tuned at less than 30% test voltage (75. 6); the overvoltage protection is 1.05 times of the test voltage: 8.3 During the voltage applying process, trate and handle the abnormal conditions at any time. Once the special personnel should supervise, and all the test people should concent own phenomenon occurs, the commands of the test person in charge discharge and breakd should be followed, with dropping the voltage to Zero and cutting off the test power. Tests shall be repeated after analysis of abnormal conditions is clearly rearward; 8.4 Confirm that the test power is cut off and the test wiring can be changed after the voltage boosting output side is short-circuited and grounded. 8.5 In the test area the fence should be added and with suspending "high voltage danger” mark, and the special person shall supervise; £.6 During single phase test, other non-test two phases correspondingly should be reliably grounded; 8.7 Before and after the test, the insulation resistance shall be measured by the megameter in order to confirm the insulation state and switching state of the subject, and the insulation resistance value should be greater than 100mQ; 8.8 During test, the special person shall supervise other parts in addition to the voltage 416v points. wl ing 9 Withstand Voltage Area The withstand voltage test of single phase shall be performed. The test circuit does not contain PT and LA. The test area of the withstand voltage test is marked in the red area in the figure below CB and DS are closed in the red marked area; ES and FES are open.
