PLAN

I would like to present my gratitude for being provided an opportunity to describe my career history and
future objectives. Needless to say, we live in a world where we’re all basing on our country’s economy
and its daily development, the global economy has become a preeminent sector for either developing or
developed countries. It won’t be wrong saying that Applied Economics is the main key in influencing the
rapid growth of countries economy since couple of decades ago.

Along with the academics I’m glad to state my affiliation with an activeness in social work which
intended for the prosperity of our human kind especially the youth, interaction and innovation
conference which encourage the younger generation to demonstrate and put to work their skills and
inborn talent, being motivated and innovative, my participation in such several events made me
knowledgeable about international relations and it elevated my knowledge and heightened me to seek
for more knowledge of how to develop our economy, since some of them focused on development
economics strategies of participants.

My academic experience in International trade and Economics includes a 3 months internship I had in
PANHUA GROUP CO.,LTD as a sales man. Where it highly helped me to see exactly how global trade is
one of a factor developing a nation economy, in this internship period I had a privilege to attend
meetings either in person and online and it left with some vital leadership ability as I was leading a
group of all interns, high communication standard and mostly a peaceful working environment which
I’m literally sure will help me in my graduate studies.

Having completed Bachelor’s studies in INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICS AND TRADE department, my
interest interest grew stronger in Applied Economics which itself is an arduous task. Hence, I want to
enable myself to have as much as knowledge as I can so as to cope with today’s world economy status
basing Economics. With the deployment of several strategies that I’ll get from my graduate studies,
which could leave the human kind and our nations, continent and The Whole world intellect far behind.
In addition to my personal interest, the reason for pursuing this particular field is my entitlement
towards my responsibilities as a Rwandan national, which oblige me to start changing where I am a
better place for the sake of the next generation, who could benefit from my doings and learnings.
Especially for those who obtained and polished from my studies in China. Having gone through all my
experience and university education I’ve come to decide of pursuing my master’s degree in the
department of “ Applied Economics “ I constantly keep myself abreast with Economics knowledge and
read some books, research papers and articles so that I expose myself to the latest global strides in the
area of Economics. This has kindled a spark on me to carry out an out an extensive study in the field of
Development Economics. It’d be an eye-opener for myself as to go in-depth to understand more about
Economics and it’s values for the well-being of society and nation.

A passion to contribute healthily to the world and the desire to chosen things with maximum perfection
has helped me in achieving best result as a student. My motivation to choose Applied Economics as a
career path has been gradual but quite intriguing as is the field itself. Knowing how to answer “ How to
take off my country’s economy “ or “ How can a strong Economy be built “ are a mystery I would like to
answer by immense research and discoveries in the field. The field make ms fascinated into diving quite
deep into discovering the possibilities and answering with positivity the questions which are yet
impossible to answer with the cognition of some theories and studies.

The progressive educational standards in China, the only most growing economy in the 2021, the take
off economy system which elevated every citizen and rise the living standard and a strong nation have
impressed me ever since I caught sense and realized the significance of a high-quality education. I
believe that my chosen university is fortunate to have employed extremely distinguished faculty
members who can discover the best talent and develop their chosen candidates into the seeds of
progress in the world.
Accordingly, I believe that being associated with the faculty in my desired institute would give me great
opportunity to pursue my career in Applied Economics, it’s research and hopefully followed by
productive inventions, which I am certain of. In addition to the conductive environment that China
provides for the study and research, I look forward to discovering the best of Chinese culture-especially
the aspects that that have made China to almost be the world’s super power in the economy in just a
total of less than 7 decades, I also believe that Rwanda which enjoys a stunning friendship and
cooperation with China needs to learn handful progressive tactics from China both in diplomacy and
technology for the global benefits.
Furthermore as an economist I’ll do my best and be a useful asset to China and the Surrounding
environment by implementing my skills and expertise into practice. Id like to end by saying that I am
fully aware that a career in research and academics requires a high level of intelligence, unwavering
dedication and a lot of sacrifice. I am confident that I’d meet all the above demands, and , if given the
scholarship, would prove my mettle in being the best researcher and inventor in the field of Economics.
Hence I appeal to the Graduate Admission Committee to consider me for admission.
