2. Make small cuts around the edge of the circle, creating feathers.
3. Cut the orange cardstock into a diamond shape.
4. Fold the diamond shape cardstock into half to make it into a beak.
5. Glue on a couple of googly eyes and a beak.

Question 1

It is Danny’s birthday. He is celebrating his tenth birthday this year. His family throws a
birthday party for him.

Danny invites his friends to his birthday party. Danny and his family prepare a lot of food and
drinks for Danny’s friend. His mother also bakes him a birthday cake.

Danny’s friends sing birthday song for him. He makes a wish after blowing the candle. His
friends also give him birthday gifts. They enjoy the birthday party a lot. Danny feels happy for
celebrating his birthday.

Question 2

David is a playful boy. One day, his teacher had an urgent meeting and had to leave them for
self-study. As a naughty boy he is, David started playing with his friend in the classroom. The class
was in a mess.

David played with his friends using ruler. While they were playing, David accidentally hit his
friend’s eye with the ruler. His friend’s eye was hurt and swollen. His friend cried out of pain.

David was very nervous when he injured his friend. Luckily, his class monitor was calm and
went to report to their class teacher. The teacher took David’s friend to the clinic. David’s friend was
treated by the doctor. David felt regret and apologized to his friend. He has learnt a lesson and
promised himself that he will never be naughty again.
