IV. PROJECT LOCATION: Brgy. Sinubsuban, Maasin Iloilo

V. BUDGET SOURCE:

The Sangguniang Kabataan with their five (5) thousand allocated fund, proposes the project entitled
"Operation Linis Kapaligiran". This project is a barangay cleanup drive that aims to clean our
surroundings, canals, and remove vandalisms that ruins the beauty of our barangay.

VI. PROJECT BACKGROUND:

In the past years, our barangay, Barangay Sinubsuban, has implemented several projects for the
advancement, order, and safety for the residents living under its jurisdiction. Out of all the programs and
projects that are currently in progress, our barangay gives cleanliness and sanitation little attention, due
to the fact that not many residents throw and dump their garbage anywhere. That's the reason why only
three small garbage cans can be found in the whole barangay. Residents may not throw garbage in the
area, but passersby do. Most of the garbage thrown are plastics, Styrofoam, and candy wrappers.

VII. PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

 To reduce damp areas that may cause health risks to residents

 To prevent trashes to clog canals
 To remove vandalisms
 To beautify the surroundings

VIII. EVALUATION:

This proposal aims to help the community by dedicating efforts to clean while instilling environment
awareness among community members.
