Chapter 1: Have You Heard About Pitchfork?

Ito ay trend channel tool na binubuo ng tatlong

linya.

Chapter 2: Pitchfork
Pitchfork is often ignored kasi maraming traders

ang hindi alam paano ito gamitin.
Pitchfork is a trend channel.
What Is a Trend Channel?
May tatlong trend (uptrend, downtrend,

sideways).
Walang available na shorting para sa retailers sa

PSE kaya uptrend lang ang mostly pinagkakakitaan ng
traders na trend.
Kapag nakita mo na nag uptrend ang isang stock

ay i-connect mo ang mga lows nito using a line and you
can call that line “trend line.”
Any break sa trend line na yun ay mag iiba ang

trend. Either magsideways siya at magpatuloy uptrend
or magdowntrend.

Ang trend channel naman ay dalawang parallel

na linya and nasa loob nito ang candles.
I usually plot a trend line using lows ng trend

then plot a parallel channel para mas madali ang pag
gawa ng trend channel.

Ang Pitchfork ay trend channel din. Ang difference lang ay nahahati sa tatlo with the centerline
being called median. Best na gamit ng Pitchfork ay sa mga grabe or matitindi na uptrend. Strong
uptrends. Ang Pitchfork ay binubuo ng support at resistance.

THREE THINGS NEEDED TO DRAW A PITCHFORK
Kapag nakita mo na may uptrend ang isang stock ay hanapin mo agad ang low na simula ng
trend. Next ay hanapin mo ang swing high. Lastly hanapin mo ang second low or retracement low.
Kapag may tatlong points ka na ay pwede ka na magplot ng Pitchfork.

Sa chart na ito ay makikita mo ang movement ng stock price.

Pagbreak ng candle sa resistance ay umakyat pa siya lalo. Bumagsak then naghold ang support at
umakyat ulit to break resistance.

Chapter 3: Problem with Pitchforks
Maraming problema ang na-eencounter ng

traders when they try to use Pitchfork.
Isa sa mga problema na yun ay pag lumabas sa

channels ng Pitchfork ang candles ay di na nila alam
ano ang gagawin.

#1 ACTIVATE LEVELS
Punta ka sa settings ng Pitchfork and activate

#2 SCHIFF PITCHFORK
May mga iba’t ibang variations or modifications

ang Pitchfork.
I-right click mo lang ang pitchfork sa chart and

makikita mo yun.
If you chose Schiff Pitchfork ay mag iiba ang angle

nito.

ka sa settings at eh click ang iba’t ibang levels.

#3 MODIFIED SCHIFF
Same goes sa Modified Schiff. Nag iiba ang angle.

#4 INSIDE PITCHFORK
Same goes sa Inside na Pitchfork. Nag iiba din

ang angle.

#5 MOVE POINTS
Isang bagay na pwede mong gawin pag lumabas

na sa naplot mo na Pitchfork ang candles ay i-move ang
tatlong points na hinanap mo originally.
Since nagcreate na ang stock ng mga new highs

at new retracements ay i-move mo na yung swing high
at retracement low. Subjective ito at nakadepende sayo.

After mo mamove ay ulitin mo ang pagplot ng Pitchfork. After mo plot ay pwede mo ulit i-adjust using different types
or variations nag Pitchfork or mag add ka ng other levels.

Ang main point bakit ka magplot ng bagong Pitchfork or variations ng Pitchfork ay para sundan ang galaw ng price
or ang candles.
You are making support and resistance levels based sa direction or galaw ng stock.

Chapter 4: Downtrend
You can use Pitchfork sa downtrend. Same lang ang

procedure but naiiba lang ang hahanapin mo na points or
areas sa chart. You need to find the high that is the
beginning of the downtrend then the swing low at
retracement high.

Adjust using different variations (Schiff, Modified,

Inside).

Pag nakita mo na ang type ng Pitchfork na angkop

sa galaw ng price/candles ay mag add ka ng levels para
maipasok sa pitchfork ang candles.
You now have support and resistance levels.

Chapter 5: Important Things
Take a look at this picture.
Pansin mo ba na ang median line ay nasa gitna ng

swing high at retracement low sa uptrend kapag inextend
mo ang lines in parallel at nasa gitna ng swing low at
retracement high sa downtrend kapag inextend mo ang
lines in parallel.

Pag nabreak yang median line meaning yung price

ay nasa middle na or higher na kesa sa middle ng two
points na yun.
It tells you na malakas or lumalakas ang pag angat

nito kapag nasa uptrend or kapag downtrend naman ay
sinasabihan ka na lumalakas na ang pag angat nito.

Final Note
Ang Pitchfork ay gumagawa ng support and

resistance levels sa isang trending na stock.
Pitchfork is a tool and not a strategy itself.
You can use this together with other TA indicators.
Kapag may static levels of support and resistance ay

dapat mo hintayin muna bumuo ng support then enter sa
next resistance with a stoploss/cutloss points just below
that resistance.
Familiar ka on how to deal with static support and

resistance levels kapag may FIBO book ka or kapag naka
attend ka ng Fibonacci na course last 2021 sa TD.
Di nagagamit ang Pitchfork dahil kadalasan ay di

alam gamitin ng traders.
