 INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. Check the Admit card carefully and bring discrepancy,if any, to the
notice of R&E Cell, Secretariat, Andaman and Nicobar
Administration immediately
2. Bring the e-Admit Card (print out) along with one of the (original)
Photo Identity Card, such as Islander Card, Pan Card, Aadhar Card,
Passport, Driving Licence or any other photo ID issued by Govt.
Department
3. You are responsible for safe custody of the Admit Card and in the
event of any other person using this Admit Card,the onus lies on you
to prove that you have not used the service of any impersonator
4. Please note that entry into the Examination Venue shall be closed 45
minutes before the schedule commencement of the Examination i.e.
09:15 AM for the Forenoon Session and 01:15PM for the Afternoon
Session. No candidate shall be allowed the entry into the
Examination Venue after closure of the entry
5. The Question Booklet contains 200 questions in all comprising the
questions from the following four subjects:- General Intelligence &
Reasoning- (50 Questions) English Language (50 Questions) General
Awareness (50 Questions) Numerical Aptitude (50 Questions)
6. In questions set bilingually in English and Hindi, In case of
discrepancy, the English version shall prevail.
7. All questions are compulsory and carry equal marks.
8. The paper carries negative marking. 0.25 marks will be deducted for
each wrong answer.
9. You will be supplied the Answer-Sheet separately by the Invigilator.
You must complete and code the details of Roll Number, Ticket
Number and Booklet Number in the Answer-Sheet carefully. You
must also put your signature and Left-Hand thumb impression on the
Answer- Sheet at the prescribed place before you actually start
answering the questions. These instructions must be fully complied
with, failing which, your Answer-Sheet will not be evaluated and will
be awarded 'ZERO' marks. (V.H/Cerebral Palsy candidates will have
to ensure that these details will be filled in by the scribe. However,
all V.H /Cerebral Palsy candidates must put their left-hand thumb
impression at the space provided in the Answer-Sheet. Those V.H.
/Cerebral Palsy candidates who can sign should also put their
signatures in addition to thumb impression.)
10. In case of VH & Cerebral Palsy candidates extra 40 minutes shall be
provided during the second shift only (i.e. 02 pm to 4.40 pm)
11. Answers must be shown by completely blackening the corresponding
circles on Side-II of the Answer-Sheet against the relevant question
number by Black / Blue Ball -point Pen only. Answers which are not
shown by Black / Blue Ball-point Pen will not be awarded any mark.
12. A machine will read the coded information in the OMR Answer-
Sheet. In case the information is incomplete or different from the
information given in the application form, such candidate will be
awarded 'ZERO' mark.
13. The Answer-Sheet must be handed over to the Invigilator before you
leave the Examination Hall.
14. Failure to comply with any of the above instructions will render a
candidate liable to such action/ penalty as may be deemed fit.
15. The manner in which the different questions are to be answered has
been explained at the back of this Booklet (Page No. 32), which you
should read carefully before actually answering the questions.
16. Answer the questions as quickly and as carefully as you can. Some
questions may be difficult and others easy. Do not spend too much
time on any question.
17. No rough work is to be done on the Answer-Sheet. Blank spaces
provided at various places in the question booklet may be used for
rough work.
18. Mobile phones and wireless communication devices are completely
banned in the examination halls/ rooms. Candidates are advised not
to keep mobile phones/ any other wireless communication devices
with them even in switched off mode, in their own interest. Failing to
comply with this provision will be considered as using unfair means
in the examination and action will be taken against them including
cancellation of their candidature.

2. ये क स म परीा भवन म वे श िनिचत करने के िलए वे श प (Hall Ticket)
के साथ कोई भी एक फोटो पहचान प (Photo ID Card) जै से Islander Card, PAN
Card, आधार काड, पासपोट , डाईिवं ग लाईस स या कोई भी सरकारी पहचान
पलाए।
3. ई वे श प की सु रा की िजमे दारी आपकी है और यिद कोई अय यित इस ई
वे श प का योग करता है तब यह मािणत करने का दाियव आपका है िक आपने
िकसी ितप धारक की से वा नहीं ली है ।
4. कृपया यह नोट कर ल िक परीा ारभ होने के 45 िमनट पहले परीा थल पर
वे श बं द कर िदया जाएगा अथात् पूवाहन स म 09:15 बजे तथा अपरा स म
01:15 बजे वे श बं द होने के पचात परीा थल पर िकसी भी परीाथी को अदर
आने की अनु मित नहीं दी जाएगी।
5. इस पु ितका म कुल 200 न है , जो िननिलिखत चार िवषय पर आधािरत है :

6. अं गेजी और िहदी भाषा म तै यार िकए गए द्िवभाषी न म कोई िवसं गित होने की

7. सभी न अिनवाय ह तथा सबके एक समान अं क है ।
8. न प म नकारामक अं कन होगा। हर गलत उर के िलए0.25अं क काटा
जाएगा।
9. िनरीक ारा आपको उर पु ितका अलग से दी जाएगी। उर पु ितका पर
िनयमावली के अनु सार अपना नाम, रोल नबर, िटकट नबर और बु कले ट सं या
यानपूवक अवय िलख । न के उर वातव म शु  करने से पहले उर पु ितका
पर िनधािरत थान म आप अपने हतार एवं बाएँ हाथ के अं गठ ू े का िनशान अवय
लगाएँ । उपयु त अनु देश का पूरी तरह अनु पालन कर अयथा आपकी उर
पु ितका को नहीं जांचा जाएगा और ‘शूय’ अं क िदया जाएगा। (दृिटहीन/मितक
पाघात उमीदवार यह सु िनिचत कर िक सभी िववरण ले खक ारा भरा जाए। साथ
ही दृिटहीन/मितक पाघात उमीदवार उर पु ितका म िनधािरत थान पर
अपने बाएँ हाथ के अं गठ ू े का िनशान अवय लगाएँ । जो दृिटहीन/मितक पाघात
उमीदवार हतार कर सकते ह , वे अं गठ ू े का िनशान के अलावा अपने हतार भी
कर द ।)
10. दृिटहीन/मितक पाघात उमीदवार को केवल दस ू रे स के दौरान अितिरत 40
िमनट दान िकए जाएं गे (अथात दोपहर 02 बजे से 4.40 बजे तक)।
11. उर पु ितका म सभी उर साइड-2 म न सं या के सामने िदए गये सं बंिधत
गोलाकार खान म केवल काले /नीले बॉल-पॉइट पे न से पूरी तरह काला कर । जो
गोलाकार खाने काले /नीले बॉल-पॉइट पे न से नहीं भरे जाएं गे, उनके िलए कोई अं क
नहीं िदया जाएगा।
12. ओ.एम.आर उर पु ितका म भरी गई कू ट सूचना एक मशीन ारा पढ़ी जाएगी। यिद
सूचना अपूण होगी अथवा आवे दन प मं स दी गई सूचना से िभन होगी, तो ऐसी
अयाथी को ‘शूय’ अं क िदया जाएगा।
13. परीाथी परीा हॉल को छोड़ने से पहले उर पु ितका िनरीक के हवाले अवय
कर द ।
14. ऊपर के अनु देश म से उमीदवार ारा िकसी का भी पालन न िकए जाने पर
उमीदवादवार िववे कानु सार कारवाई या दं ड का अिधकारी होगा।
15. िविभन न के उर दे ने की िविध इस पु ितका के पीछे (पृ ठ सं या 32 म ) छपे
हुए िनद श म दे दी गई है । न के उर दे ने से पहले आप उह यानपूवक पढ़ ल ।
16. ◌न के उर यथाशीघ व यानपूवक द । कुछ न आसान तथा कुछ किठन हो
सकते ह । िकसी एक न पर बहुत अिधक समय न लगाएं ।
17. उर पु ितका पर िकसी भी कार का रफ काय नहीं करना चािहए। न पु ितका म
िविभन थान पर उपलध खाली जगह पर रफ काय िकया जा सकता है ।
18. ‘‘परीा क/कमर म मोबाइल फोन तथा बे तार सं चार साधन पूरी तरह ितबं िधत
है । उमीदवार को उनके अपने िहत म सलाह दी जाती है िक वे मोबाइल फोन/िकसी
भी अय बे तार सं चार साधन को िवच आॅ फ करके ही अपने पास न रख । इस
ावधान का अनु पालन न करना, परीा म अनु िचत उपाय का योग माना जाएगा
और उनके िव कारवाई की जाएगी तथा उमीदवारी भी र की जा सकती है ।
