Appreciating what you have-Jenny

1)Introduction:
"What is the most important thing in your life?". A psychology institute
did a small survey with that question. Nearly 80% of people believe that
the most valuable things are the things they have lost or cannot have.
Only 20% of people answered that what they own is the most valuable
thing. With this survey, psychologists concluded that people usually
reach for something "over there" which they believe will make them
feel happier and more content. But in fact, "Appreciating what we
have" is the easiest way that makes life easier, happier, and healthier.
2)Body:
-What does it mean?
I appreciate that I am alive.
I appreciate that I have delicious food to eat.
I appreciate that I can walk, hear, see, and speak
That is what "being grateful for what we have" is. It just simply means
understanding the worth and importance of something or someone in
our lives.
-Why it can bring happiness?

People usually focus on being, doing, and having more than what they
have already so it will be axiomatic in their life. They do not know that
these simple things are really important. So to demonstrate that I will
show you why "appreciating what we have" is a necessary thing to do.
Firstly appreciation triggers a positive feelings like empathy, joy, and
happiness. For instance, giving thanks to a friend or appreciating his or
her help can also give you a feeling of happiness cause when they are
happy, their feeling can affect your mood too. Secondly, it helps people
acknowledge the goodness that occurs in their lives. To be specific, let
me take an example from our real story. I am sure that there is a lot of
time you feel sad and upset about your parents, especially when they
yell at you or do not allow you to do something. But don't you know
that there are a thousand people out there that is orphan? , they even
didn't meet their parents once in a lifetime. So when we are grateful
and aware of the importance of our parents, we will know that we are
luckier than too many people.
-Encourage people to appreciate what they have.

Do you see? Life gets easier and more interesting if you practice the act
of appreciation – by choosing to think about what you have instead of
what you want. So let's take a moment right now to pause and put your
attention on all of the simple things you can appreciate.
Look around where you are, go within yourself, and scan your life right
now – focusing on what you appreciate. You can think, talk or write
about them. It doesn't matter what form it takes. It's about putting our
conscious attention on some of the many simple things that we need to
be grateful for.
3)In conclusion:
Last but not least, I want to tell you this. When we were a child, we had
time and health but we don't have money. Growing up as an adult, we
have money and health but we don't have time. And when we're aging,
we have time, and money but we don't have health. As you see, life is
not perfect so please start learning to appreciate what you have before
time makes you appreciate what you had.
