Marine sanctuary of Philippine our one of the highest and center of biodiversity in the world

since we our surrounded by water. But because of illegal fisheries and commercial vessels, marine
sanctuary of the Philippine specifically the central Philippines become endanger but because of local
community they banded together and willing to risk their life just to protect their sanctuaries. the
cases of illegal vessels had result to for making laws in order to protect and government considering
the plan of making marine sanctuaries all over the Philippines. At first, it was effective but after
several days people able to violate this laws and continue to destroy our marine sanctuary. And
government didn’t able to make another action about it but local communities especially those
women that are willing to risk their life just to protect the sanctuaries and based on the video they
only use paddles and kayaks as a tool to protect them selves serves as a guard of those marine
sanctuary and they able to make a good result since we can clearly see the good outcome of there
handwork. They able to conserve marine’s life for the future generations, but in terms of poverty I
could say if government didn’t give them much bigger help this problem will be much harder to solve
sooner or later. But conservation of marine sanctuaries can be the tool in able to solve the problem of
central Philippines in terms of poverty they just in the help of our government.
And lastly, I just want to emphasize how strong, determine and brave those women on
protecting our local marine environment they our willing to sacrifice them self just in order to save
sanctuary and this determination our one of the things that we need in our life in order to make
changes on our society. And this could be a wake up call on anyone, that anyone could help our
environment to put back all the beauty of it, we just in to be as one and help each other on our goal
to save the environment.
