10 American accent basic rules

1-THE ----> (should we say it THA or THEE)

THA ---> If the next word starts with consonant letter.
The table The door
The ground The country
The cell phone
THEE----> If the next word starts with vowel letter.
The Only The Oil
The End The Internet
The Umbrella

2- T----> When the T comes at the end of the word between vowel and consonant or
two consonants we drop the sound.
Next Friday last Monday Fat Boy best friend bat man

3- T---->When T comes between two vowel letters it turns to be slight D.

(This point is related to the American accent only)

*- notice that: even if the T sound comes between two vowel letters in a linking
between two words.

4- O----> When it comes as the second letter in the word you drop the sound.

5- O----> If the O is the only vowel letter in the word it turns to be (UH).
(This point is related to the American accent)

8- Going to-------> Gonna.

9- AND----> We always cancel the A and the D sounds and pronounce only the N sound.
