The Great Gatsby

By: Fitzgerald, F.Scott in 1925

In the novel gaspty has these big,

wild parties in his house. I believe
they represent him trying to relive
the past.
1

"Gatsby bought that house so that

Daisy would be just across the bay".

2 This quote shows how Gastby is

doing so much to just be close to her
when he could have just moved on
and not stay in the past.

"I behave that on the first night I went

to Gabsby's house I was one of the

3
few guests who had actually been
invited". This quote shows when
Gatsby invited Nick just so later on he
could get daisy to come over.

"If you'll invite Daisy to you house

4
some afternoon and then let him
come over". This quote shows
Gabsty telling Nik to invite Daisy
over so he can see her.

In the end Gatsby seems to do all

of this just for this one girl he

5
could have just gotten over and
lived his life to the fullest and in
the end of the story he ends up
dying because of the lead up of
what he did to get to her.
