The information contained in this TSB supersedes SU002–97 dated July 18, 1997.

Introduction A groan or crunch noise may be heard from the front suspension when driving over
speed bumps or dips in the roadway on some North American produced Camrys and
Avalons. This noise can be confirmed by jouncing the front suspension up and down to
pinpoint the noise.
