Technology plays a vital role when it comes in education.

It contributes to the learning of every

student. Through that technology student can easily understand what the teacher teaches with the use
of different platform. Both teachers and students become more creative with the help of technology.
But let us get back on how technology influenced my life a learner from elementary, high school, and
college and what changes over time.

Back when I was in elementary, I am not familiar to any technology like computer. Our school
only have few computers and only teacher is allowed to used that. I am very afraid to touch any part of
it. Normally that times, teachers rarely used laptops or monitor in discussion but sometimes they used
when there is something they want to show to us. Also, that time we are required to wrote what is in
the visual aid of a teacher using pen and notebooks. But when I was in high school, there is a change,
when it comes to discussion of teacher, they use monitors and projectors. They rarely use visual aid,
where the topics are written in the manila paper. When it comes to our notes, we are required to make
a copy of a certain topics using xerox machine. Almost of our projects and output always need to use
computers and internet. That’s why it become a big change to me when I enter to high school. Today, I
am a college student, there is something new to me. Because of the pandemic students are not be able
to go to school that’s why we use platform to study. Google meet, and other software application are
become my partner in learning. It is something new to me, because before I am using pen and paper to
study. All of the activities that I need to accomplish will always be done using internet and technology.
Even the quizzes and examination done with the used of technology. These changes give a big effect to
many but in some ways, it is good because it is very useful today because we are in the midst of
pandemic.

It is very evident that technology changes over the time. As times goes by there is always new to
the technology. But these changes is always beneficial to everyone. But the important things is don’t
forget the traditional methods of learning that we have before.
