It was a great symposium knowing about successful entrepreneurs Tania Aria founder of Veezh

which is a jewelry product, Farahnaz Muhammadi founder of Armaghan online Gift shop, and
Nilofar Ghazanfar a young entrepreneur from Ghazanfar Group. In this symposium, I learned
about success story of Afghan entrepreneurs and how they handle with challenges that they faced
during business. One point which was really pleasant for was talk of Professor Leslie about how
to be an entrepreneur. She said, “Being an entrepreneur is certainly not for weak of heart; it takes
a tremendous amount of hard-work.” In addition, the professor mentioned that in
entrepreneurship we have to support each other, and have the advice of those who become
successful or they failed in their business. And more importantly, we should never give up when
we are trying to run our business. It is right in every work we will face to challenges and
difficulties, but we should know that challenges are the part of work and it help us to do more
and work hard. Being a successful entrepreneur in country like Afghanistan that the situation is
not good might be difficult but not impossible. Although we have poor condition in
Afghanistan, there are many entrepreneurs that are running their business, especially women.
Before coming Taliban, the situation of Afghanistan was very good. It caused many women
entrepreneurs to start their business, and their business had progress because it was supported by
local people. Though in Afghanistan we have toxic competition environment, but entrepreneurs
never give up and they continued their business. If the situation of Afghanistan gets normal back,
we will have many successful entrepreneurs, especially from women side because women have
more creativity and innovation, and they are trying to do their best in business. The other thing
which mentioned by Miss. Aria was about how to sustain our business. In every business we are
dealing with customers. It is important that our customers satisfy from our products. In addition,
we should know about mechanisms that help us to expand our business. For instance, because of
Covid-19 many businesses turn into online, and they start delivering online business. In other
word, as entrepreneurs you have to change the situation for your benefits. We know that for
women there will be many challenges for their business. For example, for start of business, they
need money so that to start their business, but the banks don’t give them loan. Or as a woman
entrepreneur she might face to toxic competition environment, and many other challenges.
However, women should never give up and they should continue their work. If opportunity gives
to women entrepreneurs, they will play significant role in the future. In addition, success of
entrepreneurs will also help the economy of a country. To conclude, if we want to become an
entrepreneur, we should never give up. In entrepreneurship we have to work-hard so that to
achieve our goals.
