Does Aristotle’s system of political classification have any relevance to the modern
world?
Yes, Aristotle's system of political classification has relevance to the modern world, and
it is practiced until this day. Aristotle supposes that politics is a didactic activity for the
improvement of citizens but also that politics is an allocation of power in recognition of
past accomplishments. The majority of the population in the Philippines elects its
leaders in a democracy. When elections are held, which only take place every six years,
Filipinos will vote for the leader they choose. In other nations, different forms of authority
are used. An illustration of this is the monarchy-style government that exists in England,
where a king or queen is in charge. Nevertheless, North Korea's one-party system
makes it eligible for the oligarchy classification, and it can also be categorized as a
dynastic Stalinist regime or a monarchy.
