1.What have you observed in the video presented and identify some achievements in the field of
science and technology?

Science and technology play significant roles in how we live our daily life today. We turn out the
lights at night and get out of bed when our alarm clocks sound in the morning. Science and
technology have enabled us to purchase all of these pleasures. Most significantly, the development of
science and technology alone is the reason we can do all of this in such a short period of time. All of
these were non-existent before. Without science and technology, our modern way of life is difficult to
fathom. Indeed, it is now essential to our continued survival. New technologies are developing daily
that make life easier and more pleasant for people. Consequently, we are in a scientific and
technological age.

Science and technology have had a significant effect on how change appears in people's daily
lives. It is clear how advantageous it is for the globe to create this specific invention from the
infrastructure to how simple technology has made people's lifestyles. The shift brought about by
breakthroughs and inventions developed with the aid of science and technology is highlighted in the
film. Buildings with attractive architecture are also made to be more durable and less susceptible to
disasters or unanticipated events. Widening and modernizing the roadways is advantageous to the
people' public transportation system. The development of vehicles that are faster, more comfortable,
and easier to use. In essence, science and technology have helped to construct contemporary
civilisation. Nearly every area of our everyday lives has been significantly improved by this evolution.
People can thus benefit from these outcomes, which make life more enjoyable and relaxing.

In conclusion, we must admit that science and technology have led human civilization to achieve
perfection in living. However, we must utilize everything in wise perspectives and to a limited extent.
Misuse of science and technology can produce harmful consequences. Therefore, we must monitor
the use and be wise in our actions.

2.What do you think are the major contributions of the Philippines to the field of science and
technology at present?

In the fields of science and technology, Filipinos have made significant contributions. In truth,

scientists from the Philippines have created several things. lamps that burn seawater rather than
kerosene. A scientist from the Philippines created this. burner that burns manure from farm animals to
produce methane. A scientist from the Philippines created this. using water instead of fuel to power a
car. This was the idea of a scientist from the Philippines. Recently, a group of youngsters from the
Philippines developed robotic toy automobiles. Another group of Filipinos was also successful in
creating dengue testing kits. These are only a few of the innovations made by Filipino scientists.

The Philippines' main contribution to science and technology is its small-scale initiatives to create
inventions that can benefit society nationally as well as globally. The nation has greatly contributed to
the support of establishing a better future with the aid of science and technology and has also been
highly supportive in embracing change that has helped us attain growth and progress. In essence,
technology is the main force behind economic expansion. It is an essential and fundamental
prerequisite for adding value to both people and raw resources. It offers the key to unlocking the
potential of any nation in terms of lowering overhead expenses related to sourcing and generating
employment possibilities. Additionally, the Philippines is particularly supportive of getting young
people interested in science and technology. Education in science and technology will not only equip
young people in our nation, and in fact in any other country, for rewarding employment options, but
will also develop in them the ability to think critically about social issues. Youths with an education in
science and technology also have a lot of job prospects. A lot of industrialized and advanced nations
made significant progress because of their significant investments in research and technology. Even if
the Philippines didn't make much progress in that area, it didn't stop brilliant people from achieving
greater things and making a difference in the world.

In a distant view, the Philippines may appear to be just a tropical nation with a strong tourism
industry. However Filipinos are also knowledgeable and fiercely competitive when it comes to science
and technology. It has developed economically with the help of science and technology, just like every
other nation. It has already aided in the development and advancement of science and technology
thanks to the welcoming and supportive attitude of the nation. Much more so because of the
inventions and developments created by the nation's top minds. Despite the fact that these
innovations and innovations may not be very large-scale, the Philippines and the rest of the world still
benefit from these great works.
