Project 2 - Written Communication
Project 2 - Written Communication
On July 24th, the company decided to reimburse qualifying employees for the fees of completing
job-related courses. Courses that are part of an employee's program for a job-related degree are
also permitted.
For participation, an employee must apply for the program prior to the first-class meeting, and the
application must be signed by the employee's immediate supervisor. All applications will be
evaluated by the human resources department where you can find the application forms, as well as
catalogs from local institutions and universities. An employee's course options are limited to those
that are connected to his or her current employment or a position that the employee could pursue
in the future.
Financial Issues:
Employees may receive $3,500 each year for tuition and fees. Books, transportation, and other
expenditures are not covered.
Even employees who have another financial aid, such as scholarship, can still be reimbursed up to
$3500 for tuition and fees that are not covered by this aid, as long as the total does not exceed the
actual cost of tuition.
Graduate course reimbursements, as well as undergraduate or basic education reimbursements
above $3,500, are taxable.
Terms of Participation:
- Employees who have been with the organization for three months are eligible to apply.
- This offer is only eligible to full-time employees.
- Courses may be at any level (GED, high school, college, graduate school) as long as they
meet the criteria.
- Courses grades for accepted student must be “C” or higher.
- No one will be reimbursed without submitting to human resources: a copy of his or her
approved application, a grade report showing at least a “C,” and a copy of the statement for
tuition and fees paid.
