SG Days
October 9-13, 2022
Theme: Kalingawan
Kalingawan is a Cebuano term for enjoyment. Every student and faculty deserves the time to
enjoy and relax. The SG Days are designed to provide the students and faculty the chance to
mingle with each other, to build camaraderie, and enjoy each other’s company when it comes to
physical fitness. As the CPAC Visions states, “to be holistic institution…” holistic covers all aspect
of the human life therefore, the SG days will provide the physical training and emotional support
to each student and faculty of CPAC. The theme speaks for itself. Let CPAC have the enjoyment is
deserves after the 2-year pandemic.

Participation in the SG Days will help students further develop their social skills, co-operation,
teamwork, physical literacy, and overall health. Most importantly, the SG Days will provide
much-needed opportunities for students who do not have the opportunity to participate in
organized sport or physical activities within the school or community.

Objectives:
The SG aims
1. To provide the opportunity to every student & faculty to participate in games and sports
and practice the spirit of sportsmanship.
2. To develop the leadership qualities.
3. To enhance the spirit of cooperation.
4. To enhance physical fitness, emotional wellness, and social interaction.

School colors:
SASED - Blue
SBA & Theo – Purple
SET – Green
SON – White
Booth contest – each school must put up a booth where attendance will be checked.
- Decoration must be relevant to the theme.
- Must be spacious and durable.
- Environment friendly.
- Criteria for judging:
o Creativity 40%
o Relevance to the theme 30%
o Representation (representing your school) 30%

Opening night (things to prepare)
1. Torch
2. Banner - school name, must be carried by two representatives (lady and gentleman)
3. School Chants – must be used to cheer in all SG events, must be 5 minutes long.
4. Marching Band – depending on each school, it may contain drummers, lyres, etc.
Activities Every Night: (Attendance is not compulsory)
SG Nights:
 SG Night Bazaar
o Location: Near the globe, food stalls & others will be near the ramps.
o Students will be encouraged to stay within the assigned area.
o Activities:
 CPAC Got Talent – Sunday Evening: Each school should send their
representatives for this event.
 Movie night – Monday Evening: projectors will be set up at the front
portion of the education building.
 Blind date and couples’ night – Tuesday Evening: Students will be allowed
to spend time with their special someone but must stay within the
assigned area only. Students caught in inappropriate areas will incur
deduction points from their team’s general score and will be subjected to
counselling and disciplinary measures.
 Midweek Program – Wednesday Evening: SG Officers will lead the program
at the Church.
 Awarding Night – Thursday evening at the GYM.

Mechanics for Attendance checking:


1. Checking will be done every day at 7am, 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 5 pm.
2. Assigned checkers will be the Secretary of each School.
3. Attendance will be checked at the school booths.
4. No exception
5. Fines will be Php 100.00 per checking.
Objectives:
-To encourage everyone to attend
-The fines will go to each School and will be used for student needs and future
activities or project/s.

Point System for each game:


· Champion – 20 points
· 1st runner up – 15 points
· 2nd runner up – 10 points
· 3rd runner up – 5 points

General Rules and Regulations:


1. Players cannot be allowed to play if they didn’t participate in the oath taking ceremony.
2. Players are not allowed to play for a different team other than their own.
3. List of players must be submitted a week before the SG Days.
4. Players are not allowed to degrade and taunt other players.
5. Players are not allowed to say bad words in every game. Warning will be given for the
first 2 offenses. Suspension of the player for 2 games will happen on the third offense.
6. Players should respect referee’s decisions.
7. 15 minutes is the time given before each game.
a. First call: 5 minutes
b. Second call: 5 minutes
c. Third call: 5 minutes
d. If the team cannot make it after 15 minutes, team will be defaulted.
8. Players must wear playing shoes in every game.
9. Players must not wear plastic ballers, plastic headbands, watches, jewelries, and
eyeglasses.
10. Players are allowed to wear cotton headbands, wristbands, and sports eye wear.
11. Players are not allowed to wear jeans while playing in any game. Players must wear
appropriate sports attire for each specific sport.
12. Female players are not allowed to wear short shorts. Shorts should be on the knee or one
inch above the knee.
13. Female players are not allowed to wear sleeveless shirts, crop tops, and shirts with
plunging necklines.
14. Female players with long hair should have their hair tied.
15. Players should have well-trimmed nails.
16. Players should maintain proper hygiene.
17. Each school must take responsibility of couples in their department. Couples caught in
questionable places will incur major deduction points of 15 from the accumulated score
of the school. Further, the students caught will have to undergo counselling sessions and
face the disciplinary committee.

PARADE RULES AND GUIDELINES


1. All students must join the parade.
2. All the students must be at the front of the Church at 4:30 am.
3. Follow the parade arrangement.
4. Every school must have the parade banner
5. The attendance at the beginning of the parade must be the same and equal until
the parade ends.
6. Every school is expected to behave and walk in an organized manner.
7. The above mentioned rules and guidelines must be strictly observed failure to
follow will result to the deduction of points.
