3 years after, it was Christmas night when iking begs his mother to allow him to listen on
girl’s music. However, aling biang, his mother that he should rest while she prays to
God. But iking is only interested in hearing the guitar and go to the fence. He waits to
the girl to play the guitar.
Unfortunately, iking died at 2:00 A.M before the girl play some music. He died without a
trace of fury in his heart, with an ear anticipating but never receiving music. Aling biang
was very angry, shouting to the person playing the guitar at dawn. But Aling Sebiang
viewed it as a joke. She stood and gazed accusingly to the other side but she saw only
the fence she had built and strengthened, stately white in the matutinal moonlight.
