Subject: Request for Data Disclosure Permit for Farm in/Out Purpose

The reference is made to the following:

1. Government Regulation No. 35 of 2004 on the Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities,
Article 33 paragraph 3 stipulating that any data disclosure for the purpose of
assignment, transfer and hand-over of part or whole of Contractor’s rights and
responsibilities as referred to in paragraph (1) shall obtain consent from the Minister
through the Executive Agency.
2. Chapter V Article 5.2.8 of Service Contract stipulating that Contractor shall have right to
sell, transfer, hand-over or release the entire or part of the participating interest to any
non-affiliated third party with prior written approval from Executive Agency and
Government of RI.

Based on the above statement, prior to the sale, transfer, hand-over or release of the entire or
part of the participating interest to any non-affiliated third party (farm in/out), Contractor shall
submit a permit request for data disclosure through BPMIGAS in accordance with the prevailing
regulation.

For Exploration Contractors, the request for data disclosure permit for farm-in/out purpose is
be submitted to BPMIGAS Head of Exploration Division, while for Exploitation
(Development/Production) Contractors, it is submitted to BPMIGAS Head of Evaluation and
Development Division.

Bidang Eksplorasi, sedangkan untuk
Kontraktor Eksploitasi
(Pengembangan/Produksi) disampaikan
kepada BPMIGAS Kepala Bidang Evaluasi dan
Pengembangan.
