ADVERTISEMENT

The Governor of Arunacha! Pradesh is pleased to

invite applications from the citizens of lndia for filling up of following
vacancies in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission
(APPSC) in terms of Article 316 of the Constitution of lndia.

(i) Chairman, APPSC - 1 No.

(ii) Member, APPSC - 3 Nos.

1. Eligibility Criteria: -
Persons with outstanding career, outstanding
academic excellence and capacity to judge independently
suitability of candidates for a
civi! posUservice under the
Government of Arunachal Pradesh. He She shall not be a /
Member of Parliament or Member of the Legislature of any State or
Union Territory, or hold any other office of profit or connected with
any political party.
2. Tenure: - 6 (six) years from the date on which he/she enters upon
the office or until he/she attains the age of 62 years whichever is
earlier.

:. Salary: (a) Salary of the Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh
Public Service Commission shall be Rs. 2,25,000/- PM and other
allowances as admissible from time to time subject to the
adjustment of Pensionary /retirement benefits availed by him/her, if
any, as per the rules.(b) Salary of the Member of the Arunachal
Pradesh Public Service Commission shall be Rs. 2,05,400/- PM
and other allowances from time to time subject to the adjustment of
Pensionary/retirement benefits availed by him/her, if any, as per
the rule.

s. How to Apply: -
a. lnterested candidates shall submit their application in prescribed
format as enclosed at Annexure - A along with testimonial at e-mail
id secy-part-arn@nic.in.The submission of application in
electronic format is mandatory and the time of receipt of e-mail
would decide as to whether an application is submitted in time or
late.
n. Government Servants: - Persons who are presently working under
a State or Central Government or other Organizations shall submit
their application through proper channel along with copies of ACRs/
APARs duly attested by the Head of DepartmenUHead of Office for
last five years along with DepartmentalA/igilance Clearance. ln
case of retired Government servants, they shall be free from all
types of crimina! and other charges.
c. SC/ST candidates shall enclose caste/tribe certificate(s) issued by
the Competent Authority along with the application.
o. lntegrity /Character & Antecedents: - The integrity of the candidates
shall be beyond doubt. They shall be free from all types of criminal
and other charges. However, the appointment of the selected
candidate shall be subject to verification of Character and
Antecedents by the police.
e. Closing date of application is 12h December , 2022. No application
will be entertained after the closing date.

Note: lncomplete application will be summarily rejected. Self
attested/Certified copies of the certificates of Educational/ Experience/
Caste etc. shall only be enclosed with application. Original Certificate
may not be enclosed. Applicants shall specifically mention against which
post they are applying i.e whether " ,: to the post of the Chairman,
APPSC or to the post of the Member, APPSC.
