PROJECT CONTENTS:
‘elements' folder:
contains the source files used to make the animation including
pre-comps, solids and textures

Render Comp folder:

Contains Final composition to be rendered.

Replace Heads Here folder:

Contains All Placeholder Compositions for replacing heads for
the characters

Replace Logo Here folder:

Contains comp for placing your logo in Scene 04

Scenes folder:
Contains all Scene compositions where the customizable text ex-
ists and the character controls are for each character in each
scene

How To Replace Faces:

1 Go to File/Import/File...
Navigate to the folder with the
photo you want to import.

2 Click “Open” to import

your photo to the Project
Panel.

How To Replace Images:

1 In the Project Panel go to the

“Replace Heads Here” folder.
Then Double-click to open the
“Replace Head 01” composi-
tion.

2 Drag & Drop the imported

photo into the Replace Head
01 composition timeline. Delete
or turn off the placeholder layer

3 With the photo layer

selected, Hit S on your
keyboard to bring up the
layer’s Scale property,
scrub left on the numbers
to scale the layer down if
needed.

How to Isolate the Face:

1 Select the Pen Tool

Use the Pen tool to
click create points around the
face, be sure to connect the
last point to the first point

Be sure to place the
head’s chin on the bottom of
the comp window

How To Change Text:
Go to the Character
Panel to change color,
font, and text size

1 In the Project Panel open the Scenes folder, 2 Double-Click on any text layer, the text will be-

1 In the Project Panel open the Images

Use the slider to choose a face for

a Male body

Female Body:
Check the box to give the character
a Female body

Skin, Shirt, Bottoms Shoes

Color:
Use the color pickers to change colors

Select Shoe Style:

Use the slider to select different shoe
styles

How To Change the Background Colors:
Select the last layer in
the timeline labeled
‘background’
Use the color pickers to
change colors

Go to the Effect Controls

panel, use the color pickers on
the Start Color and End Color
in the Gradient Ramp effect to
change the colors.

To make the background a

solid color use the same color
for the Start and End of Ramp
