One of the elements or ingredients of the crime is motive. Wherein motive is defined as the reason or
cause why a person or group of persons will perpetrate a crime. In your own opinion, does motive has a
significant factor in perpetrating a crime?

- Yes! It has. Because Motive is a reason for doing something weather it is secretive or not. So
motive has a big contribution in perpetrating a crime. Based on the previous lessons there is
some types of motives or the roots of committing a crime such as; Anger, Jealousy, enviousness,
etc. but most reason for committing a crime is one’s benefits after the crime committed weather
it is for those listed or for money and power. “ Motive comes first and action comes second”
