In my opinion, there are a lot of success criteria that contributes to the successful software
projects such as: -

 Customer satisfaction target is achieved

 Project meets the functional requirements
 Project meets the commercial objectives for profit, revenue, etc.
 The project was used as a baseline for any future projects
 The client officially recommends our company
 The project was mentioned in media outlets
 Training was delivered as planned to the appropriate teams
 Project handover to the operational team was documented and completed
appropriately
 Project delivered all items within the agreed scope
 The project received likes on various social media
