Omaha Beach, Easy Sector, FRANCE, 6 June 1944: Around 7:45h the
landings had begun. Both Big Red One and 29th Divisions were scattered
all around the beach receiving serious cassualties and chaos reigned over
the battlefield. At one point 80% of radio equipments were lost or damage
and most officials were killed or wounded, therefore individual decisions
were of paramount importance for the already landed troops both to
surpass german defences and to survive until the 2nd wave reached the
beach.

VICTORY CONDITIONS: The Americans win inmediatly upon exiting ≥10 VP Hexes from A to L and from 1 to 5
off the west edge . Each squad exited is worth 2 VP, each half squad exited is
worth 1 VP and each SMC exited is worth 1 VP.

Omaha Beach, Fox Sector, FRANCE, 6 June 1944: Around 8:30h, on


the eastern side of the beach, the 16th of Company L, supported by two
tanks and covered by artillery support from USS Doyle were able to go
trhough the beach toward Wn60. It was a emplacement where a mortar
battery and various artillery pieces emplaced in tobruk bunkers where
shooting the incoming US troops.

SPECIAL RULES: AFTERMATH: Even though the americans did came


from the beach were they went through the german first
1. The buildings where AT and MTR are deployed are considered tobruk bunkers and so
defenses by 9:00 the position was under american control,
none of the restrictions buildings inflict on AT and MTR are considered, but TEM
allowing a faster advance of the troops left behind and
remains as usually.
2. Forest and other terrain were heavily modified by germans before the landings, thus, already not landed yet.
forest are not an obstacle to LOS, though their TEM remains as usually.

3. USS Doyle bombardment: Americans get a number of 1/2" Smoke counters equal to
the result of a DR roll on Turn 1. They are deployed on the Rally Phase in any hex
chosen by the american player.
