Crypto Coin Design Brief

We are seeking three designs for Bitcoin physical coin token; each winning bid will be
awarded separately.

Each design will comprise both Front AND Back side designs of the coin.

We have reviewed existing designs and think the following are good for inspiration, however
we do not wish to clone these designs and are seeking something distinct and different from
these.
These samples should serve as inspiration for your designs.
DESIGN REQUIREMENTS - FRONT
This mockup is purely to describe spaces on the Front design.

The outer Black ring is the edge of the coin token and should be the border for the design.

The pink ring bordered by the blue line is an area to place text. The following phrases can be
(they won’t all fit so pick and choose) used in this space:

● BTC
● BITCOIN
● PHYSICAL BITCOIN WALLET
● 1 TROY OZ 999 COPPER
● DECENTRALIZED MONEY
● SATS.INC

“1,000 SATS” will need to be available in the PSD file to be changed for different numbers
including:

● 1,000
● 5,000
● 10,000
● 50,000
● 100,000

Your design will need to account for the changing space these numbers will consume.

This text should be displayed at the bottom of the yellow area as in the mockup, or
alternatively in the blue box in the middle.
You will need a better font than IMPACT which was used for the mockup however it should
be of a suitable aesthetic for the overall design.

The yellow main area of the coin should use a crisp design making good use of the space.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS - BACK
This mockup is purely to describe spaces on the Reverse side design.

The outer Black ring is the edge of the coin token and should be the border for the design.

The pink ring bordered by the blue line is an area to place text. Please use the following:

On the LEFT and RIGHT side of the coin, each of the following as layer options:

● 1,000 SATS = 0.00001 BTC

● 5,000 SATS = 0.00005 BTC
● 10,000 SATS = 0.0001 BTC
● 50,000 SATS = 0.0005 BTC
● 100,000 SATS = 0.001 BTC

On the TOP edge of the coin:

● LIBERTY

On the BOTTOM edge of the coin:

● SATS.INC 2022

The yellow main area should utilise a pattern, like the circuitry, used in the first two
inspiration images above. You are welcome to design this area in the same motif as the rest
of the coin as you see fit.
The Green area is a flat rectangle, approximately in the proportions of the mockup, 9:16 ratio
placed above centre on the X axis and centred on the Y axis of the coin. Consider this space
to be the area of coin that will not be stamped and will remain a blank space.

Directly below this is a bitcoin logo. Again this logo will be “not stamped”, so it will be carved
around rather than carved IN.

COLOUR SCHEME:
Because these coin tokens will be etched/stamped on metal, only a single colour scheme is
needed for the entire coin design. Like the second and fourth images provided.

You will need to provide the same design in both GOLD & SILVER colours.

A transparent background is required for the images.

FILE FORMATS:
Successful bidders will need to submit a .PSD file with layers, as well as a .PNG file for the
design.
