Meredith Corporation is a media company that works with a number of well-known brands,
including magazines like Better Homes and Gardens, Family Circle, and Ladies Home Journal.
Their magazines reach around 30 million readers in eight out of ten homes. They also service
the media, with brands on television and in other areas. Meredith Corporation is well-known for
promoting products for the home and family, health and wellness, and other "self" categories.

They market their products through print, television, online, and other channels (Meredith
Corporation, 2012). Their publications are available in regional and demographic editions, and
their pricing is based on how you buy, with renewals priced different than new customer
subscriptions. Meredith Corporation collaborates with several of the country's leading firms,
including Lowe's, Kraft, Rachel Ray, and Macy's. Their databases connect firms with clients that
are interested in the specific market they are targeting. Meredith Corporation focuses on three
important strategies: creating core publishing commitments, broadcasting commitments, and
producing yearly revenues across numerous channels (Mission Statement, 2012).

Meredith caters to women. In fact, Meredith has become the undisputed leading media and
marketing company focused on women. They earned their reputation by developing an
expertise in managing deep relationships with female customers. With core categories of home,
health, family, and personal development, Meredith’s goal is to touch every lifestage of women,
from young adults and new parents to established families and empty nesters.
