 The Union Finance Ministry allowed airlines to avail of
up to Rs 1,500 crore loan under the Emergency Credit
Line Guarantee Scheme (ECLGS), to help them tide
Emergency Credit over their cash flow problems.

2020 started the ECLGS to provide collateral-free and

Guarantee Scheme for Start-ups (CGSS). It would
provide collateral-free debt funding up to Rs 10 crore
for start-ups extended by commercial banks, non-
banking financial companies (NBFCs) and Securities

 Public procurement of goods and services by central
government ministries and departments has crossed
Rs 3 lakh crore from the business-to-government
portal Government e-Marketplace (GeM) on the back
of a surge in purchase activity. The cumulative
transaction value of goods and services bought by
government ministries from MSMEs through the GeM
portal grew 116 percent to Rs 3.11 lakh crore from Rs
1.44 lakh crore during October last year.
 In comparison to pre-Covid transaction value, which
stood at Rs 35,462 crore during October 2019, the

the order volume has now crossed the whopping 12
million or 1.2 crores .
 As the PM GatiShakti program completes one year,
the government has now set highly ambitious medium-
term targets for various infrastructure ministries.
 The cumulative highway construction under the
ministry of road transport and highways is now
targeted to be raised to 200,000 km by FY25 from
141,190 km in the last fiscal. Similarly, the freight
loading by the railways will be enhanced to 1,600

 The number of airports, heliports, water aerodromes,
including those under the UDAN scheme, are targeted
to be increased to 220 by FY25 from 140 in FY22. The

tonne per annum (MTPA) from 1,189 MTPA. The
20,000-km-long oil and gas pipeline network in the
country will be extended to 34,500 km by FY25.

Programme (PMEGP) has enabled 25,105 new units with Rs 802
crore subsidy extended and 2,00,840 jobs generated
so far in the current fiscal.
 The half-year performance has already surpassed
1,406 enterprises set up and 11,776 jobs generated in
the entire FY22, as per the latest data. The margin
money extended stood at Rs 64 crore.The government
had extended the scheme over the 15th Finance
Commission Cycle from 2021-22 to 2025-26 with an
outlay of Rs 13,554.42 crore.The extension will create
sustainable estimated employment opportunities for
about 40 lakh people in five financial years.
 The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
(MSMEs) joins hands with Indian Institute of
Technology (IIT) Kanpur’s technology based incubator,
Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) to
facilitate the MSME Design Innovative Scheme.

Urvarak Pariyojana Fertilisers Mantri Bharatiya Jan Urvarak Pariyojana – One Nation
One Fertiliser – under which it is mandatory for
companies to market all subsidised fertilisers under
single brand ‘Bharat’. The prime minister launched the
single brand Bharat under the scheme during the two-
day event PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022. This is
being done to prevent criss-cross movement of
fertilisers and reduce high freight subsidy.
 All subsidised soil nutrients – urea, di-ammonium
phosphate (DAP), Muriate of Potash (MoP) and NPK –
will be marketed under the single brand Bharat across
the nation. 600 PM Kisan Samruddhi Kendras (PM-
KSK) were also inaugurated that will act as a one-stop-
shop for farmers who can buy products and avail
multiple services related to the agriculture sector.

Supervisory Monitoring System, which is expected
to make the supervisory processes more robust.

aims to augment the retail payments ecosystem by

and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has
launched Bima Sugam. Bima Sugam is an online
marketplace offering a spot to all sellers of
insurance on a single platform. The online platform,
encompassing both life and non-life insurance, is
set to go live on January 1, 2023.
7 Bima Sugam PFRDA  Multiple insurance-related processes, including
buying and selling of policies, keeping details of the
current policy handy (portability facilities), settling
claims, and changing insurance agents, will be
accessible via Bima Sugam. It allows buyers to
purchase life, motor, or health insurance policies
directly. These facilities will be available to
customers via an electronic insurance account (E-
IA).
 On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Tele
Mental Health Assistance and Networking Across
States (Tele-MANAS) initiative of Union Ministry of

 SEBI issued a master circular on the redressal of
investor grievances through the SCORES
platform and said the option of one-time review is
available in case the complainant is not satisfied
with the grievance resolutionIn the circular, SEBI
stated that in order to enhance ease, speed and
accuracy in the redressal of grievance, the
complaint shall be lodged on SCORES within one
year from the date of cause of action, subject to
certain conditions.
 The conditions would be that the complainant has
approached the listed company or registered
1 SCORES platform SEBI intermediary/ MII (Market Infrastructure
Institutions) for redressal of the complaint or the
complaint has been rejected.Other conditions
include that the complainant has not received any
communication from the concerned listed
company or the registered intermediary/ MII or,
the complainant is not satisfied with the reply
received or the redressal action taken.

(SCORES),the market regulator has received
