As the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, | have kniown her for 36 months as one of the most sincere students of our college, She has been one of the brightest students in the undergraduate engineering program of our institute: during this time, she has consistently demonstrated a high degree of dedication and passion towards her academic curriculum. Some of the ‘coursework and laboratory work that I have mentored her with is explained further in detail, in the ensuing paragraph. Having her under my tutelage for two semesters, | have had the opportunity to mentor Minal for tenets of Object Oriented Programming Methodology (OOPM) and Database Management Systems. (DBMS), Throughout the tenure of my association with her she has come across as someone who has 8 firm grasp over the technical concepts taught in class; and this was further highlighted by the good ‘marks that she secured in the aforementioned subjects. In addition to this theoretical view, she also [possesses a substantial exposure to practical aspects of these subjects through working on various case studies. As a result of the same, she learnt in detail and implemented the concepts in real time. While teaching her the concepts of the aforementioned subjects, ! came to learn of her ability to work ‘on her assignments in a meticulous manner. Her contribution to the content and her raising pertinent questions in class enabled me to learn of her vast learning potential, | can attest to this fact as | had regularly seen her in the college library and computer lab, reading from the reference material and technical articles, so as to keep herself updated about the current trends in the industry. Resultantly. she was able to present and publish a “Review Paper on Learning Disabilities with backing of Assistive Technology” in International Journal of Global Technology Initiatives, in the year 2018. Minal is one of the very few students of her batch with a social bent. She was a part of the Social Service Team “Hamara Station Hamari Shaan”, a Public Private People Initiative which helped beautify and transform 36 railway stations of Mumbai to celebrate the Daan Utsav week of October 2 to October 8 2016. In addition to the same her whetted skills of leadership abetted by her articulated communication skills rendered her the position of the secretary of Green Club committee (2016-17) a committee which was formed to implement different techniques which can help in saving our environment. Throughout my course of association with her, ! am delighted to announce that Minal displayed dynamic while communicating with her peers and faculty pool.
