How to make yourself stand out from the competition?

In order to get hired this summer you need to follow certain guidelines.
1. Be active on LinkedIn. Follow the companies and connect with their employees on
LinkedIn that will help you get referral easily. Post twice a week about what you are
doing in your professional life share your projects and work with the professional
community this will help recruiter to reach out to you without applying. In my 2.5 years
of university I have got 7 offers both full time and internship from PK as well as
international and 5 out of them were through LinkedIn.
2. LinkedIn is important while searching for jobs as your network is your net worth. Don’t
hesitate to message anyone asking for information about the company or referral.
3. Put at least 2 good projects on GitHub so it will help you stand out from others.
