Rehearsal

Criteria for Success to have a successful Rehearsal aligned to Tight Loop Coaching
Ensure rehearsal calendar invite is sent with clear teacher outcomes and materials to bring. :
Example:
Teacher Outcome: Teacher will rehearse modeling CFS.
Materials to bring:
• Student work exemplars
• CFS
• Access points (ie – anchor charts, graphic organizers, powerpoints, etc)
Ensure rehearsals include time to review CFS and/or lesson key points.
Ensure CFS and/or key points are being rehearsed.
Ensure there is an agenda for rehearsal and focus of practice is named. Rehearsal Agenda (below).
Use Next steps implementation receipt to track teacher mastery of key points Implementation

Use sign in sheet for accountability purposes

Leader CFS during rehearsals-


At beginning of rehearsal, state the most pressing problem or trend and agenda
Give teachers time to provide feedback on KP
Allow teacher to practice the first time and take notes while teacher practices
Provide feedback aligned to CFS (2 glows, 1 grow)
Allow teacher to practice again at point of error (share glows)
