Education is one of the powerful keys to realizing and recognizing human development.

It does not
solely rest on the intellectual development of the mind but also gears toward the improvement of the
human character, life-long skills which makes every learner a good contributor of society’s welfare.
Crucial to this endeavor, is the role and impact of community to where these learners belong.
Continuous education is not just a role of a learner nor his or her family but a shared responsibility of
each concerned stakeholder in the community. Without the support of community, education will not
flourish. Thus, education in general is a communal responsibility, a task which necessitates effort and
support of the community. The success or failure of education reflects the kind of community to where
it stands.

Roxas Farm School which was established according to R. A. 10618 or rural farm schools act, continues
to provide quality and culture-sensitive education to the indigenous learners in upland barangays of the
municipality of Tapaz.
