Hugh Nibley is an American writer; he often writes doctrines and scriptures of Jesus

Christ and supports the claims of Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith is a leader of Mormonism and
published many revelations and his teachings are about the nature of God, cosmology, and
religious collectivism. This essay wants to portray that myths tell about such things happening
because that was the type of thing that did happen, myths are made because it somehow
happened in the past and was observed at present. Nibley explains how myths are made and what
the ritual-situations Theseus and Heracles experienced are. This essay wants to explain that
myths are just invented by people depending on their tribes in which they come up with a story
that is repeatedly happened in their tribes.

Old myths are by no means pure fiction, any more than they are all history, myths are
invented stories of people from the past and in the modern period, and people just reflect stories
of the past to create another myth. In another way, no one can prove that myths are true and
evidence happened in real life. Many myths explain history but whenever places we go, and
people have their own stories about myths and we can’t conclude if the myths happened or not.

However, these myths tell about such things happening because that was the type of thing
that happen, it tells that by observation and the event that’s happening in every place around the
world, it is where myths are made from. Some myth stories like the story of Theseus and
Heracles wherein they are known as ritual figures for they are wanderers and involved
themselves in ritual situations implicate that rituals happen around the world depending on what
ritual a tribe does, some of them use animals or foods for rituals. There is a relationship between
biblical and worldwide pagan tradition, this explains that in every tribe they worship their own
God and these Gods are their creators like what’s in the bible there is Jesus Christ who created
living and non-living creatures in the worlds.

There are many things contained therein that are true, and there are many things
contained therein that are not true, some people believe in something that they saw right in front
of their eyes or their observations to claim that myths are true and some people base their claims
on the books they read. Stories are made based on history or what people observe and create
myths about it so we cannot guarantee if the myths are true or not. These myths tell about such
things happening because that was the type of thing that did happen, in this statement many
myths are based on the true-life experience of a person or a group of people and with evidence.
Thus, myths are sometimes true or not true depending on the situations on the stories; if the
stories are exaggerated people may not believe it knowing that they did not encounter such
stories.

To conclude it all, there is a serious historical reality behind all myths as a whole, when
people read stories they tend to research some ideas from the story to prove if it is correct or it
exists. Rituals and other traditions are being practiced in different tribes in the world and people
who encountered such rituals may believe in some mythical stories. Bible, pagan traditions, and
historical stories were presented in the article and it is every place’s myth and it is what people
believe.
