    A Californian start-up called Mojo Vision claims to have developed the world’s
    first true smart contact lens, which puts a screen against your eye to display
    information. Named Mojo Lens, the working prototype has a built-in display
    that gives the wearer useful information without “forcing them to look down
    at a screen or losing focus on the people and the world around them”. Mojo
    says its Invisible Computing platform enables information to be instantaneous,
    unobtrusive and hands-free. The company holds patents critical to the
    development of an augmented-reality (AR) smart contact lens, and is looking
    for business partners to develop the idea. An early application of the product
    would help people struggling with low vision by providing real-time contrast
    and lighting enhancements, as well as zoom functionality.
