A fungus is a eukaryote that digests food externally and absorbs nutrients

body (thallus) composed of microscopic tubular cells called hyphae. Fungi
are heterotrophs and, like animals, obtain their carbon and energy from

Using a cotton bud to spread (lawn) yeast culture throughout the plates and allow
them to dry. Take your inoculum from the agar plate cultures provided. You will need
2 plates per antimicrobial as you should be setting up plates in duplicate.
