NNAMDI ANAGOR'S MANIFESTO

The key themes that represent both the innovations and improvements I desire to
introduce in the NBA's financial Secretariat if elected as the Financial Secretary
can be summed with this acronym, “H-TAFD”. Their respective meanings are in
bolds.

I believe that being human is better than merely being a human being. To this end,
I want to help in making the NBA a more *HUMANE* association that will never
negotiate the welfare of its members with anything at all. I strongly believe that
one of the best ways to ensure this is through unassailable financial
*TRANSPARENCY* and *ACCOUNTABILITY* And one of the ways to ensure
financial accountability and transparency in the NBA is to make it easier for every
member of the NBA to have free, timely and unfettered access to relevant
financial information of the NBA. To this end, I am on a mission to further
digitalize the financial activities and records of the NBA from the National to the
branches. This will enable members to make necessary financial payments and
enquiries without stress. This will also enable our members to access various
financial helps available in the NBA within minimal time.

I will ensure that nothing will be spared in enthroning unrivalled *FISCAL

Responsibility* in the NBA and in bringing the financial records and activities of
the NBA closer to our members and in line with global best practices. This is
because the protection and welfare of our members are strongly embedded in
fiscal responsibility, transparency and accountability of our officials. In this digital
era, like a round peg in a round hole, I am well positioned to put the NBA light
years ahead in fiscal discipline and accountability.

Again, it Is my heartbeat to introduce easily accessible *“digital book keeping”*

of the financial records of the NBA across board. This will render otiose the
current practice where members who desire access to their financial information
in the NBA will usually rely on manual and time-wasting processes with its
attendant imbroglios.

The said “digital book keeping” will be updated within short and periodic intervals.

In this “digital book keeping” of the NBA financial records, members will have a
financial sense of belonging in the NBA. Members will be able to review the
financial records of the NBA as well as their own financial standing in the NBA, all
within record time whenever they desire so. This will also build and improve on
the already existing financial transparency structure of our NBA. The financial
records of the association will be closer to our members just like our phones.

help to simplify financial information of the NBA so that our members can easily
review same without unnecessary intellectual stress. This will further help to
bring our financial records to international best practices and to the barest
understanding of everyone.

“Digital financial book keeping” will also ensure that our members receive every
information regarding the financial expenditures and incomes of the NBA within
record time.

For the achievement of these goals and more, that is why I humbly offer myself to
serve our dear members of the NBA as the National Financial Secretary.
