Profile Update

It is very important that your profile is updated on BNI Connect from time to time because an updated profile
creates visibility and the members whose profile is completely updated on BNI Connect are considered
trustworthy and hence it is more likely that the other member would want to get connected with you.

Bio

Please ensure that your Bio details are completely filled. You have to fill (i) 2 Weekly Presentation Scripts, (ii)
Gains Profile and (iii) Tops Profile. If your Bio is updated completely it becomes easy for the member who visits
your profile to take a call as to whether you are a good connect from him or not.

Connections

Connections will display all the members of your chapter and the members who have accepted your connection
request and the members whose connection request has been accepted by you. You may choose to send
messages to your connections and update them about your work.

Testimonials

This is one of the most important section on BNI Connect. If a member has passed you a testimonial, then
request that member to give you a testimonial through BNI Connect also. Testimonials help to create more
Credibility and the members who have more testimonials on BNI Connect can be considered more reliable as it
is a human tendency to check reviews before buying a product or service.

Photos

Ensure to update photos of your products/list of services/testimonials frequently on BNI Connect. A visual
representation of product/service creates more impact and the chances of member sending you a connection
request increases.

Groups

There are various groups per business categories and you can choose to join any group and interact with the
members of that group and get updates from the group you have joined. You can choose to join any group that
interests you and if you feel the need to create a new group then you can do so.

Advanced Search

By using Advanced Search option you can search the world wide database of BNI Members. Advance Search
gives you the option to search members by using a key word eg. architect, attorney, weeding planner, insurance
consultant, chartered accountant etc., their first name, their last name, company name, country, city and state.
