Speech Purpose: to inform people about perils keeping monkey as pets

Central Idea:perils keeping monkey as pets because monkey can be aggressive when they
reach sexual maturity, health concern,expensive needs.

Introduction:
i. Are people aware of the dangers of keeping monkeys as pets? Why are monkeys the
first choice for many people today? Is keeping monkeys safe in terms of our physical
and mental health?

today i want to explain to you the danger of keeping monkey as pets

i will explain one by one the danger of keeping monkey

Transition: Then let us proceed to our purpose which is i will explain about the perils or
danger of keeping monkeys as pets. There are at least 3 points I will give so please take a

monkey can be aggressive when they reach sexual maturity
1. There are many kinds of cute monkey we can keep such as squirrel
monkey,macaque,tamarin and many more but that you aware of the danger of
monkeys when they reach serial maturity and can become aggressive to you. you
never know which one not attack you and which one will attack you.
2. Former Las Vegas organ grinder Sony Rickson, who owns four capuchin
monkeys ranging in age from 7 to 12 Rickson said she was attack by one of her
capuchins.she said. "I have one that I worked with for seven years and I'd go
everywhere with her—and all of a sudden one day she just turned on me. I

time to them. That is why it is dangerous to keep monkeys as pets.

keep them as pets you're creating a mentally disturbed animal in 99.9 percent
of the cases," if we don't give enough attention to pet monkeys, they will
behave unexpectedly like biting or screaming, even monkeys can also get
psychological problems and it's hard to cure them, this is because monkey is
highly intelligent, emotionally complex.
1.1. Next, Various health problems that can be transmitted between monkeys and
animals include zoonotic disease. It is Human cold sores, he said, can kill smaller
monkeys such as marmosets and tamarins.
1.2. Although monkeys can carry herpes B, a virus that can be fatal to humans. Most
people become infected through bites or scratch.

1. The expenses for monkeys are huge in terms of health, food and shelter.
Veterinarians who are able to treat monkeys is a big challenge and it costs a lot to
finance the treatment.

1.1. Moreover, monkeys have a special diet, and many monkeys suffer from diabetes
because of improper diet. so they need special and necessarily expensive food.
1.2. Next,monkeys need a spacious and safe place to live. Of course, the cost of
building a monkey cage is enormous. It is best if the monkey spends time outside
and is provided with various toys and exchanges

I think that's enough to convince you why monkeys are dangerous as pets. There are plenty of
cute pets like cats and dogs that we can care for.

Overall, monkeys are not good pets. Yes, it cannot be denied that they are cute and smart.
Sometimes we feel like taking care of a child because of their physical appearance. But the
reality is that monkeys are capable of causing too much harm and require too much care and
attention .If you are humane, don't make a monkey a pet
