talked to the young guy for a few minutes. He just got back from Afghanistan AGAIN
a few days before and was driving home to see his parents. He told me what group he
was with in the Army but I don’t remember. Just some kind of special operations
thing he mentioned.

In 1970, Bill Baxley was elected Attorney General of Alabama and opened an
investigation into the bombing of 16th Street Baptist Church. The attack, which had
killed four young Black girls attending Sunday School in 1963, was one of the uglier
examples of white resistance to the civil rights movement. There were still plenty of

A friend of mine does daycare from her home, and frankly watching a bunch of
toddlers interact should have it’s own cable channel. It should also be mandatory for
anyone studying human psychology, anthropology, or business. I sometimes wonder
how statistically predictable adult behavior would be if a small panel of professional
observers evaluated a thousand toddlers.
